    RAIN

Hope everythings OK jonesy?I just watched Morpeth on TV,2 feet of water in the town?
  2. Thanks for the votes,I enjoyed reading the entries, good standard,I had already decided to donate a pirze(should I win one) to a worthy cause,I should have written "The fairy-wood" after the place we lamped last night Theres something not quite RIGHT about a country-park car-parking area filled with cars, each containing a single male occupant I would tell you what we found in the woods, but some things are best left unsaid Thanks for the votes, mucho obrigado
  3. It was a metaphorical storm Maty, the worst kind
  4. You have to weather a storm to see a rainbow Maty
  5. Coincidence?I just got the boy to spin some 4-strand earlier(has to earn his pocket-money,credit-crunch and all that,no free-rides on the gravy-train),will try them later this evening
  6. Still check it out RD,looking is free, anyone says owt just tell them I am window-shopping I have somewhere a little less public in mind, besides,as you now well know, gaffing is sooo last-season
  7. It was on TV earlier this evening, guy in Hayes West-london shooting targets in the back-garden shot his 3 year old son in the head, child rushed to hospital, father arrested.
  8. I told you..............Motorbikes.................Steve McQueen....................barbed-wire.................freedom............Great-escape
  9. Thats cool RD,but I am not treading old-ground,I have a very good spot, lets see what we can pull out of the hat
  10. Netting laws were a little different in my old neighbourhood,I often had 150 yards of netting right across the river, though not at the estuarine mouth but further upstream, never once prosecuted for it neither,so obviously legal, none of the anadromous fish I netted ever held owners-tags nor names and return-addresses,neither do I suspect they were bar-coded either, however should I have been committing an unlawful act then i was fully prepared to accept the consequences of my actions
  11. Factor in the cost of packaging?
  12. We all interpret laws in our own ways ooty, they are flexible providing you accept the consequences if your initial interpretation was wrong, but the day the law-makers themselves are squeaky-clean is the day to adhere to the written laws 100% but as we all know, some people are f***ing hypocrites
  13. No mate, though we were once mistaken for environmental-agency workers when using "Alternative" fishing methods on a particularly sensitive stretch of water, discretion was the better part of valour and we beat a hasty though dignified retreat soon after JOE was challenged to produce his EA card
  14. You can change two letters if you accumulate enough points, this is 'Tinternet after all Make the rules up as you go along
  15. I know the fish are running well in the river Wear at the moment, going there this month to cast a line, just wonder if anyones had any from Durham or any of its stretches lately?
  16. I cant remember Gnip, years since I read it,its up in the loft somewhere,I never heard of F.walker neither, doesnt mean he hasnt written a book I suppose?
  17. Third from the bottom "The Lurcher" frank sheardown?
  18. China and eastern europe I used to sell indoor gardening equipment, when indoor growtents first came out they were going for £160?I was getting them £25 from china,if your cutting out the middle-man its all about finding the source, shortening the links in the chain, but sometimes for the sake of a few quid its easier, quicker, and simpler to just buy from a supplier like Moley or any of the retailers advertising in any of the fieldsports periodicals
  19. Nothing quite like beaching a RIB in the small hours on a deserted beach
  20. Tackle-tarts..........The majority of fishing equipment is designed to catch anglers first, fish second,we all seccumb to the allure of shiny-things and new-toys But to be honest a good angler with basics often catches more than a tackle-tart
