    Bungsamran or as its sometimes known bungsam lan,been there a few times mate,the french guy is jean francois helias,he charges way more than 50 quid nowadays,your better off fishing the place yourself hiring the gear from the site-shop,the while day will cost you about a tenner then,I went on my own and caught a 74 lb pla buk,theres a couple of english guys guide for that lake also,one of them took Robson Green fishing there for an Extreme Fishing program.I used to spend days at Jomtien fishing club while my mates were in Pattaya drinking,a great little hidey-hole,happy days eh?

    I was in central america during the 's Black,but I did know some nice ladies there also as I was a fresh kid at the time,lots of exciting trysts Oddly enough I have met some nice women abroad over the years,my current is from canada :victory:Something tells me LB is going to have the time of his life(and dont forget the fishing in Thailand).

    Mine were always accidental catches mate,if they were alive I released them,but mostly they were drowned,I dont think a long-net has the depth,apply for the licence anyway mate,its his livelihood thats at stake,the worst that can happen is they say NO in which case a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.............

    I have had a number of cormorants in salmon-nets,I once actually saw a bird land on the water,dive under and I just knew within a few minutes the floats would be bobbing,I said to my mate "Thats going to hit"sure enough it meshed itself,there are massive numbers of them decimating fisheries inland,apply for a licence as you can shoot a limited number,failing that out of sight out of mind. http://www.environment-agency.co.uk/business/sectors/32665.aspx

    Paulus,if you had bought the print-run you could within reason have named your price,I do know 250 copies went to trade so there are a few copies floating around still?Charts,there are always going to be genuine coursing afficianados who will pay premium for memorabilia,the WC is a distant memory so anything relating to it is a collectable,and theres always profit in something sold that cost the vendor nowt

    I told the story a long time ago when it first happened,on Moochers I think?But back in 2000 or 2001 I met a guy who would go on to blow himself up in the name of allah,not speaking sh*t just saying it as it happened,the odd thing about him was that he was a quiet,unnasuming recently married very respectfull guy,I chatted with him on occassion about pakistan where his mum,dad,and wife were from,life,people,the usual crap but there was never any hint of what he would do as outwardly he was as normal as any one of us,his deed caused untold trouble for his family.

    Most kids backpacking end up shagging women from all over the world,I remember in thailand first time I ever went I met a friendly dutch,australian and some english and a scottish girl Go with no preconceived notions LB,be open to any experience,watch your back,be yourself,always be flexible as sometimes you meet a girl going somewhere else and your plans change slightly,enjoy your trip

    I have a mate who is on a diving trip to the far-east at the minute LB,he sent me these pics a few days back,forget the women,get yourself to Koh Tao or similar(some good english instructors on KT) and do your PADI,much more rewarding than a different woman every night and your far less likely to catch a social communicable disease(I speak from personal experiences)
