Years ago I was staying in Spain,used to go out into the med on a boat a few times a week,used to see some interesting stuff,lots of sunfish once saw a turtle,whales once,went out one morning and saw hundreds of tuna breaking the surface,got right up to them,migrating into the med,incredible sight.

First published in 1967,I saw it in a library in the late 1970’s and nicked it (I found out a few years ago Sir Trevor Mcdonald used to nick library books as a kid so feel no guilt). Such a good book,my favourite chapters were the ones on blowgun hunting and boomeranging (is it a word?It is now)ducks.

Similar book which is an exceptional read is A sporting chance by an author called Dan Marnnix who used to perform as a circus fire eater and magician under the name Grest Zadma,he was an author of note but a sporting chance has boomerang hunting,coursing with cheetah,ferreting,falconry,ferreting etc.

Massive oversupply Dan,plus street prices are lower than Dispos,there’s 6 legal dispensaries close to me now,but you can phone a delivery service and get a pound for just over £300.It’s legal to grow your own also.Tweed has shut down its huge plant in Smiths Falls (Known as the town that cannabis saved)and downsized to a far smaller plant in Quebec. Go into a Dispo and it’s a menu of edibles,vapes and oils/extracts,flowers are losing ground in popularity.

I put a pic of a pug-mark up on here once,I had walked the trail with a guide in the morning (no one’s allowed into Chitwan alone)no sign,coming back after a day in the jungle a tigress had followed our route down sometime after us,here also wolves,bear,lynx use trails,the path of least resistance.

Park lol,truthfully though,leave the sarcasm just because I don’t believe in UK cats,there’s cats,wolves,bear etc in this place,leave the comfort zone your in and get out,see the real world,life’s too short.

There ya go,don’t be surprised at my question I thought you were being sarcastic and yup lol.My idea of off the beaten track and yours are totally different,I tried to do the Silk Road once (couldn’t,Iran refused me a visa)overland,went right across china when it had only been opened to foreigners for a few years,including the Taklamakhan desert and Tibet “people who think like me” lol,and there’s no fences where I am,have you been to this area?Or have you ever in your life been somewhere really off the beaten track,somewhere you see no people for days on end?Our definitions aren’t the same.Yo
