Carp are a food fish Danny,thats the reason they were originally imported into this country I will actually be fishing for them next week in their country of origin where I have eaten them many times

The "Star" meat rats I ate were scabied sewer living townies :sick: I visited the Karni mata rat temple at Deshnok years ago,the rats were feted like royalty,wined and dined with the finest of foods and bowls of milk,but were the most scabrous moth-eaten rodents I have ever seen

Those trail cameras are advertised in every bowhunting mag I have bought,seen second-hand trail cameras for sale on e-bay,get a digital one,bit more expensive but saves developing costs Just did a quick ebay search for "trail camera" there is quite a selection stateside,about 45 cameras,some quite cheap

Oddest carp fishing experience?Forget the finess of a 2-1/2tc rod or baitrunner,the lake was renting out uptider/multiplier combos as the biggest fish in there was a 300+kg arapima,packed with cats to 200lbs+ and carp to 200lbs+,the lake actually holds 10 IGF world records,a surreal experience but a great experience

Yup,seen how much nets belly-out when theres a decent tidal run But I will post pics when I use them

Tunny,nets are 100 metres,3-5/8 mesh which have a depth of 14 foot when rigged,got them so big as an insurance,we intend to put them off the beach,and set them from a mates RIB,used nets a lot when I lived in the north-east for salmon and sea-trout,this is my first year fishing for bass,but as the actress said to the bishop"Better too big than too small" I will post some pics when I have caught in them

Eaten rat in China,Vietnam etc I attend the world cockfighting championships every year in the Philippines,saw STAR meat on a backstreet foodstall,"Whats STAR meat?"Read it backwards,yup,you guessed it,that accounted for the small pile of ratskins dumped in the nearby gutter

Yup,the beaches I intend to fish shelve steeply off,nice fish,what weight were they?Have to admit,I prefer cod to bass,beautiful looking and tasting fish

Tigers,scary fish mate,seen a few brought in with the nets,based in Hong Kong for years,regular as clockwork one would come each season and take a few swimmers/divers,authorities brought in Vic Hislop from Australia,he failed to catch the fish but stated it was a migratory shark which would most probably continue to pick off a bather or two annually as it came up the coast on its migration route,like I said,scary fish How much did your trip cost?How much for the charter?

What you using tunny?And what you going after?Going for the Bass later this summer,cant do anything at the moment due to work commitments and going abroad for a couple of months,but really looking forward to the fishing when I get back
