Just goes to show what the countries like now I was watching another reality police show on TV were they follow the coppers round and they picked up 2 eastern europeans for something. They found out thye wer illegals and were told to go on there way and report to manchester or somewere were there was an imigration center. Guess what, couple of month down the line they still havn't shown up. My mums originally from the highlands,scottish wildcats certainly do exist Its the large labrador sized UK cryptids I have doubts about considering the incidence of melanism in leopards,the fact no one sees the normal commoner Rosette marked specimens,and the fact theres not one detailed,clear pic of one in the UK countryside,but its always good to play devils advocate

1980'sRichard?Photography has advanced in leaps and bounds since then,every man and his dog carries some form of digital camera nowadays,I am on about modern pics One puma skull has been found,also one skull found to have come from a taxidermised animal I used the amur leopard as an example,sub-species or not its still a lot scarcer than the UK cryptids if reports are to be believed,lives in very sparsly populated countryside where not everyone carries a cell-phone with digital capabilities,yet STILL theres plenty of footage and pics of them,wheres the crystal clear UK pics?Not one........

Richard,I am not closed-minded,far from it,I used to be fascinated by cryptozoology,subscribed to fortean times,had countless books,talked to natives in Malaysia about Orang Pendek,sherpas in nepal about yeti,Herdsmen in Ulaanbaatar about the mongolian death-worm,all the same as the UK cryptid mate,figments of the imagination,no proof whatsoever sadly,now I believe what I see with my own eyes amd not vicarious sightings from others

Amur leopard richard,rarest big cat on the face of the planet,approx 40 left in the wild,very rarely seen,but plenty of pics online Good pics as well,no mistaking them is there?I have searched all of the big-cat UK sites,not one proof-positive pic
