Hello ma man i was hoping i had here the last of this.To take any wildfowel with an air gun in the Uk .YOU Must appley for a license to say they are a pest on you land.It,s the sane as a Badger or fox only you will have to shoot then with abullet or shootgun.The only Quarry you can take legaly with air rilfel on an groud without it been delared a pest is a brown rat.grey squirrel,rabbit, crow or rook,magpie,jay,wodpidgeon,collared dove feral pidgeon,house mouse,mink.Anything easl you or the land owner has to have a permit to kill it with an air rilfle.atb catcher. Aye, but animals classed as game are different to animals classed as vermin. You used to have to buy a game license up until a few years back, but I believe they done away with it. Isn't the use of lead more to do with the environment that you are shooting in, rather than the species of quarry JD? Again, I'm not 100% sure on that one either! the law says no lead shot with a shotgun no mention of rifle bullets

Maybe it shouldn't but maybe again it does. Many middle of the road folks can accept a sporting gun, but when they come accross a guy shimying around the woods with an out and out combat assault gun they will move their stance. Fair enough on the range. # i very much doubt anyone in their right mind would consider buying one for shooting live quarry. i doubt that theyre accurate anyway. personally if i had the money id love to get one for popping down the range. cant think of many ways to spend a day. on youtube there is a video of Americans in a truck with laser sights attached -

it dosent matter what the gun looks like and talking about rugers people seem to mod them for fun and to get the most comfortable hold like changeing stock barrel triggers ectect some people like certain types of guns and some dont -
get a webley longbow and put a decent moderator on it and youl be fine if your going for a BSA get a normal lightning the XL Moderator is sh*t
