  4. hi all, i have a EU poley Jill. she will be coming into season soon, and id like to cross her with a eu polecat hob if possable. im based in the westmidlands (birmingham), so the closer the better really but dont mind a drive to sort things out. pm me for more details kev

  6. mix the water with cooking oil or sugar this stops the water freesen but the pipe and ball still freese up on mine

Hi all, have my longnets already quicksetted.. but yesterday while i was picking up the christmas tree in Homebase, i noticed what they are calling growing canes. for 98p for the short ones and they have bigger thicker ones available. they look just the job for longnet poles. anyone used them ? Kev

  12. we bolted 4 young ones yesterday at the same time aswell.. dog didn't know where to run.
  13. one is a polecat ferret mate, the other on her own i got from a gamefair of an old boy with a whole litter the same.
  14. i got one during the summer, and have had her out a few times, she took to running holes like a duck to water, is a little hand shy but i expect that will come out of her with some more working and handling. ive noticed she has a totally different working style (alot more agressive with a rabbit) than the ferrets. i think its a matter of getting them hand tamed and just being carefull which warrens you enter them in. owh and getting a decent spade Kev
  15. just made some bunny burgers for tea. and they were ace!

  16. always keep my collars on the lurchers for two reasons... 1. protects their throats if they in do take a scratch on the wire, or if they met a charlie (pre-ban) 2. easier to slip them with a collar on. kev
  17. thanks for the info mate.. had a read last nite, as the polecats are captive bred, they are exempt from article 10
  18. im not sure but them being captive bred may make them exempt is the first ive heard of it to be honest. kev
