  1. Mines frigging more accurate than I am I amazed myself when I put 3 pellets on top of each other into a block of wax! the two from the 19 fused together!!!! Keeping them as I dont reckon I could pull that off again They are (well mine is anyways) accurate in my opinion and I aint done any mods at all!! Tony
  2. Yep from me to you and everyone else. Have a happy and bountiful 2009 Phantom
  3. I use mine for shooting lil lead things outa em :11:  Sorry, but someone had to say it:) I'll get my coat Phantom
  4. My ideal club would be one where I could walk to within 30 minutes. Instead of having to travel by rail and buses to get there. It would ideally have an indoor and outdoor range, FT &HFT, and of course a pistol range for plinking, serious target work, and a practical pistol pellet course, an IPAS range, must have a kitchen and a seating area for getting together. Guess I can dream
  5. Tried to get sample packs for my .22 and .177 all over, Without any joy I reckon they may be good, but will reserve verdict until I try them (if I ever get em!) Phantom
  6. Dunno at 30 to 35 yards, but I recently purchased a 2nd user SMK19. When I fired a few test shots in my garden, it put pellet on pellet and heres the proof! (incidently I was GOBSMACKED at the accuracy for such a kick) Fired into a big block of hard wax @ about 20 meters Shots taken standing, as I dont shoot any other way (yet) Bet Couldnt do it again Phantom
  7. Thanks Peter, Thats where I got parts one and two, Part 3 was so corrupt it wont play! Phantom

  10. Hi Guy's & Gal's, not sure I've put this in the correct section but it is airgun related I have been learning loads from various video's and dvds from some big names in the Airgun world I would like to view the following titles: - Hunting with air rifles with James Douglas part 3 (seen part one and 2) - Air rifle hunting with John Darling (seen the Hunters Secrets) -Terry Doe's no excuses guide to airguns! Please send me a pm if you have a copy on either DVD or VHS for sale or to pass on for free All the best Phantom
  11. No Myxie is a virus not a flea but it can be carried by fleas and mossies All the "Experts" say you CAN eat a Myxie Rabbit as it can not be spread to humans, but then they said that "Mad Cow" varients couldn't infect humans. Would anyone actually try it? I wouldn't  Phantom Myxie Info Here
  12. Gamo reckon they are great for larger sized game (Boar etc). They hav a video on thir site. That price for 50 pellets is a LOT of brass! Phantom
  13. Thanks gentlemen for the advice. I was concerened that a 6ft/lbs may not have been capable of clean kill at say 30 yards. I have a 6ft/lbs ASI Sniper in .177 and a Gamo (similar to my old rangemaster but no model or other identifier on the gun) in .22 and thats running at 7 to 8 ft/lbs. I sold a couple of my Co2 pistols and have now (yesterday) purchased a SMK Mod19 running at 10-11 ft/lbs in.22 So I am confidant now that I can do the biz, bashing bunnies will of course take a little to get used to the kick and the heavier trigger but I'm happy with my new purchase. Cheers aga
  14. Thanks for that. I should be picking one up in Leeds tomorrow Tony
  15. Had a feel of one a while ago when in Hull, Fitted my mitts ok Tony
  16. Nice work, How do you find the guns performance? Do you use it for Hunting or general plinking and paper punching? I have just ordered one for hunting but I gater it has a bit of a twang that can be smoothed out? Tony
  17. I have a 6ft/lbs rifle and an 8ft/lbs. I wish to hunt, But I am unsure if either of these rifles would make a clean kill if I were to hit a rabbit out at 30 yards? And before anyone says it "I know its all about placement of the lead" Phantom
  18. Hi guy's What is the bare minimum power you would use for hunting with an air rifle out to 30 yards? Phantom
  19. FIRST!Find a club, let them teach you safety and all you need to know about shooting with it. Then go slaughter the maggies and anything else thats legal on your land Phantom
  20. Yeah, made in Turkey now. Someone reckoned they'd get wealthy by buying up what was once a truely fantastic manufacturer of small arms and by using the name would sell sh!te because people would buy that brand. Well they have to realise, if they want to get wealthy, they will have to produce guns made to the same standard that Webley are famous for and not the crud, there doing now! Sickening what they've done to that brand! I will pay money for old Webs, but not for the new stuff! Tony
  21. Dont waste your brass Load of garbage! Not read a single review that says there good. Only tried on in the shop and decided it felt crap. I certainly wouldnt waste brass trying to put lead on target with one! Phantom
  22. Hi all, I'm looking for Vermin / Rabbit hunting permission in the area around where I live. Brough, Elloughton, Welton, Ferriby, Brantingham, Elleker, South Cave area of East Yorkshire. Anyone out there wanting help???? or got any land I can use?? All the best Phantom
  23. Here here I am also a member of both sites. Both forums have their own rules. I have nothing against pix showing dead quarry. But then I have nothing against learning how to tune an airgunn either. Its not the mods or many of the users of the forum that dont want pix up, it appears to be the guy who pays the bills when it comes to the site. Just like here. If I posted details of tuning an airgun, I would be (expectantly cus I read the rules that say this is a no-no on this forum) banned from here. As for people complaining a certain person is a Veggie and is a hypocrite be
  24. I enjoy this board for what it is, a hunting forum. I enjoy the AirgunBBS for what it is also. I made sure I read the rules on both sites before I began posting on either.
