Si, I have a set of coloured lenses as they were a third of the price of the red bulb (shooting on a shoestring budget). I used the white light for a while but it was to strong for the paddock, the throw is fantastic! So I now use the red filter and I have also used the orange one to great effect. Not used the green or blue one yet though. Brilliant lamp

Back on track to the OP. 1st most useful item(s) is a paper target and backstop along with my gun, scope and pellets. 2nd is field craft, enabling me to get within range of my intended quarry.. 3rd comes my Patience! I have laid prone for several hours in snow and rain waiting for a shot 4th my brain, it tells me whether I can take a shot or if its a no-go. 5th a knife (soon to be ex-wife don't like me gutting em here) 6th a carrier bag from Morrisons or Sainsbury's to carry my dead quarry home. Anything else is a luxury Phantom

The law says we are allowed up to 12ft/lbs at the muzzle yes? The Combro gets as close to the muzzle as you can get It is however a tw@t though if using Co2 as the Co2 "Cloud" affects it greatly £40 wish we could get em round here for that price Phantom

I've only managed to get one rat on film, nice shot it was too Dillan wanted to go for a fag break and as I was around his side of the farm (and it's his permission) it would have been rude not to let him go for a break. His video camera is his NV unit and the results of it are pretty bleddy good Its actually quite difficult to shoot using a camcorder at waist level as your scope Still the shot was nice, right between the eyeballs as it popped it nut out of a broken drain pipe H&H, I only measured that rat because someone mentioned the size of them growing to 19 inches wer

The Air Arms S200 was originally designed as a devestatingly accurate Target Shooter and has been upgraded to hunting power for the UK market You won't go far wrong with it Not sure what connector your on about though, does your bottle have a pressure guage and tap on it? Don't fill above 185 bar and do it slowly Fill above its sweet spot and your pellets will be all over the place, sweet spot usually starts around 180-185 bar on them. Reccomend either AAF's or FX 16 grain pellets although H&N FTT's are good for the barrel as well Phantom

I had a disapointing night on the rats tonight with Dillan NOT May do a write up later or may not, but the long and short of it was I had lost count of the ones I shot but I didn't loose count of the number of misses, 6 Stood on two of the feckers one of them got away clean the other splattered under my right foot 3 of the ones we recovered were over 18inches in length, the biggest of the night made it down a hole, sod it I'll do it properly with pix on another thread Phantom

Thank you Andy, you know your absolutely right Today is another day (sort of anyway) I awoke up to the sound of my mobile. It was Gem, my solicitor, she had some good news for me (FINALLY after 11 months of nothing but fecking stress) The Council have backed down and I no longer need to take a full case to the Courts costing the tax payers thousands! The Council are happy for Gem to write an order telling the council to do what I require.
