A lot of stuff is like that.They make a name for themselves and get a following and then can't keep up with demand so outsource the manufacturing and the quality suffers.

Le chameau aint worth a w**k anymore.Last 2 pairs I had were inferior quality to my older pairs.My local gunshot won't even stock them anymore as they were sick of having them returned.

I think it's down to whatever people like to spend their hard earned readies on.Some people love a flash car,Some its expensive holidays.some will do half there wages a week on fag's,beer and weed.Ive always liked smart clobber and a nice aftershave.Maybe it's down to having to wear whatever we were given as a kid,Stuff off the market or hand me downs/shitty brand trainers etc that the second I could earn my own money I bought nice gear and always make sure my daughter can wear whatever she likes.One thing my missus said that first attracted me to her was I was always dressed smart and spotles

One of my nice pairs are gucci horsebit loafers.They might stay in the wardrobe in their box for 2years but whenever I do wear them I remember why they cost the money they did.Timeless classics that will always look smart and you can just feel the quality.

I'm sure they're made in Nottingham mate which has always been the bootmaking capital of the UK.The trickers Stow boot that I had are well over 500quid now.

Trickers are top quality boots.I had a brogue tan pair that I bought on the last day of the midland game fair over 25years ago and paid well over 200quid for them then.Had them years untill they got nicked along with a load of tools out of a truck I had.Id love another pair but couldn't pay the money they are now for something I'd only wear once in a blue moon.

I only use one brand of deodorant because it's aluminium free unlike 95%of the ones on the market but I do like nice aftershaves.Ive got maybe half a dozen different jeans paul gaultie's for general day to day use and a few Tom Fords for going out nice.Plus a couple of random others.

Tbh honestly mate I've got maybe a dozen CP company and Stoney sweatshirts.Last year we was over in Turkey and one evening it was a bit chilly one evening so I went in a shop and spent 45quid on a snide cp sweater.I could have gone cheaper but some of them were proper sketchy so spent a bit more on one which looked and fitted well.Honestly when I got it home you literally cannot tell the difference between the snide and genuine ones that I've dropped 240quid on.

No need for anyone to walk around like a scruffy c**t these days.I love a bit of designer clobber and used to spend a bomb on my daughter dressing her up in all the labels when she was little but as she's got to a teenager she's found her own style.Bit baggy,skatery,come emo goth and buys a lot of it on temu/shein but still always looks clean and smart.I went to her options evening the other night at the grammer school she goes too and one thing I noticed was it was all the hoity toity toffee nosed c**ts who looked like sacks of s**t tied up in the middle and their kids had uniforms that look

I've got loads of adidas zx 750s in various colours and the same with New Balance that I've got back into the last few years again a couple of different models but various colours depending on what colour sweatershirt or jacket I'm wearing.Then a few random pairs that I spot and like the look of.

I know what you mean about cheap shoes.Ive probably got 40pairs of trainers,2 pairs of New balance boots that look like timberlands but ar 10 times more comfy.A couple of pairs of deck shoes to wear with smart shorts in the summer.But then 3 pairs of pretty expensive shoes that Ive had years as they just don't get warn unless it's a wedding or funeral.I keep fancying a pair of tricker brogue boots but can't warrant spending over a monkey on something that will hardly get warn.

Nice.My pal has a S3 TV175 that looks like it's just been dragged out of a barn after 40years but he's got an RB 265 engine built and tuned by a fella from up your end.It goes faster than any sane person would wanna try and ride a 60year old scooter.The lads I knock about with on the scooters aint into flashy paint jobs or chrome and mirrors.We just like making them go as quick as possible.

That's where you ozzies dont understand origional English skinheads culture.The origional 60s and 70s skinheads embraced the black carribeans.They took the sharp tonic suits from the Jamaican rudeboys and the music was all jamaican SKA and Reggae.Even with the Second coming of SKA in the 2Tone era of the late 70s the best bands were all mixed race.It was only in the early 80s when. Nothing back in the 60s and 70s but walking round dressed like it when your in your 50s/60s is a bit cheesy especially when half of them weren't skinheads back then and trojan was a jamaican record label and not some naff clothing brand.Almost as bad as all the dodgy gear with lambretta all over it
