most of the places i dig are big earths not kicked out rabbit earths hopefully my dog will suit the work put in front of him Hopefully he will make a good dog for you mate. My mate has a dog much like yours and he has impressed me all last season totally dominating his quarry sometimes where other dogs have failed to do anything with it.Buy twice we had to dig to him in a tube and no matter how much he tried he just couldnt go any further but at the same time he wouldnt quit. Now i would jump at the chance to own this dog but it always makes me laugh when i hear if they want to get there the

Ive always been an been a supporter of big strong dogs 14-15 ins 20-24 lbs .Over the last couple of years ive landed 3 big shooting estates and the ground is solid chalk and flint all the way down now some off the earths my bull terrier can get down but some are tight and there is no way a 16-17 inch 30lb is going to dig to the gear no matter how determined it is.So i believe these dogs do have their uses but on the ground i am hunting their are earths they will fail in

Why does nearly every thread end up with 2 prats argueing like a pair of bitches.Ive only been a member of this site for a cuuple of months and its all ive seen and usually it ends up having nothing to do with the origional subject

the trouble with having a terrier that works rabbits and foxes is you'll be costantly digging it out of rabbit holes....better with a lurcher That must be one of the worse myths ive heard one of my mates who i dig with has always took one of his digging terriers ferreting when he goes and they do a real good job of marking earths etc and never go to ground on rabbits yet last season twice last season i had lads down with good digging dogs that we had been digging to all season and we dug to them on rabbits

My old bitch is a grandaughter of flint and i was led to believe he was by spartacus.Wehad a couple of really good dogs by spartacus mixed with smithy blood in the early 90s and when stood next to flint could have passed as his littrmates. If flint wasnt by spartacus how was he bred

right about the lurcher made a great little bitchdont know how a heart that big can fit in a bitch that small. the terrier was a lemon and white bitch if i remember rightley there was a bitch the same colour as yhe dam of the pups in the litter that i tried to buy but you was keeping it.

suppose it depends on how they are bred if you put an 18 inch whippet with a great big heavy bull they will most likely be too cloddy i used a 22 1/2 inch whippet on my 19 1/2 42lb bull and the ones i have seen are all 21-22 inches and look like strong whippets with good bone

i bred a litter last year but put a whippet dog over my working bull look for a thread started by mikey88

i own one of the original scott/sandvalley litter imported from alan scott a few years back , i also also own a sporting bred bull terrier and up till a couple of years back had bull/greyhounds and i dont believe the AB has anything to add to a lurcher most are not as game as a good half cross. i was caught up with the hype about them but thats about all it is hype usually to sell pups

heres the pup i kept back (right horrible little git), and the pups together at 4 weeks old.Looking forward to repesting the mating next year,my daughter still crys herself to sleep about that horrible man taking her bitch puppy.

i took my mate up to buy a lurcher pup from this man and ended up buying a russel pup this man has some of the best proper russels ive seen and all his dogs-pups were kept mint and were full of themselves if i was looking for a rossel i would be driving straight up to wales with 250 quid in my pocket

Thats all very good untill your house gets petrol bombed or your daughter gets raped by some little smackhead to earn himself some gear.My dogs mean the world to me but my missus and kids mean more if it came between my dogs and my family i would open the kennel doors and say take the lot and anyone who calls themself a man would do the same all that for am dog??i think your getting a bit paranoid there mate, i think the police would most likely take a little notice if you were that badly thretend.dont think theres meny that would risk that much for the best dog in the world. well thats t

shaverhad quite a rough start to his career (everything seemed to go wrong that could for a young dog)changed hands and eventually came good age 3,charlie was very hard would kill most of his foxes and if you didnt dig to him quick enough would eat them i kept a black dog from charlie-meg who was very imature at 18 months then one morning i dug to him with a dead fox that he had started eating foxes number 2 and 3 the same i dug to him dead on his fourth dig the one thing i found with the wheeler outcrosses is they can be slow to mature where meg and her littermates and the stuff i had before -

What gould and wheeler blood is in the mix -
If its the best working dog you can get your hands on use it,People go on about line breeding and inbreeding produceing bad mouths and its a load of rubbish. Most lines of terriers will produce bad mouths here and there it all depends on if you want to win shows. The chocolate bitch on my avatar is undershot and is one of the best terriers ive owned and even when bred back to her son produced 5 pups all with good mouths. The black dog is her litter brother and is also undershot and has produced some outstanding workers. Both their parents had perfect mouths.GOOD REPLY FROM FLATCAP.
