No hes the litter brother to my old bitch meg, they were out of a gould bred bitch to an old nuttal bred dog.Mr Wheeler has been down and used the dog on the dog on a couple of his own bitches and i have had some good results useing wheeler bred stuff which my mate had over meg.Mr wheeler has a bitch at the moment out of meg back to her son which was by my mates wheeler dog Charlie and i have two pups on at the moment out of the same Meg/Charlie son to a bitch out of megs brother and when meg comes in season next year im going to put a Charlie son from a different bitch on her as the blood seem

funny storry last season i had a mate travel down for a days diggingwe went to an earth that id been keeping an eye on all the signs of the gear at home so i let meg off who along with all my other dogs i allowe to bush rabbits etc when not out digging she ran straight over the earth without stopping luckily my mate grabbed her before she went through the wood checking earths on her own.my mates dog a right tough customer who we had been digging to all winter was showing real interest in the earth so my mate asked if he could try him .My mate let him in and he pushed on to the far end of the

i bred and owned honey till she was 20 months then she went to a good mate.why you asking?

Pickaxe bred both Chaz and Tilly and owned and worked them, Chaz has without a doubt sired workers and good workers at that, of course a percentage will fail but thats life, Tilly is undoubtedly one of the BEST bitches I have ever dug to and over the years that is a lot to try and count, you could 150% guarantee that if you put her in you would dig her out. I think Both Chaz and Meg are well bred and wouldnt have been a bad combination to produce a litter, just a shame its gone sour and future breeding cant be done, I know both lads and dont wish to slag off or side with anyone of them, by

First of all i have never said meg could be called away what i said was %100 fox but if she got herself anywhere a bit naughtyand i had to leave her she would eventually come looking for me and that doesnt mean 5 minutes later but if she knows your there or hears your digging shes staying. To many lads claim to have dogs that stay all day or that would die down there when the longest they have had them in is an hour or two.Yes i did say IF the bitch made the grade she would be mated back to josh in a few years which you agrreed would be the way to go.Shay said in his post that the pup would hav

And there are plenty of lads on this site that have dug to meg and stuff out of her over the years so the crap you talk aint fooling anyone

glad to see hes still going well bud,im going back to that type of blood next time i breed meg which will be her last litter wasnt to pleased with the last breeding i did with the chaz dog,the wheeler stuff works well with meg I'm sorry the two dogs aren't working out! as there sister is a real tidy little thing which her new owner has high hopes for, but we both knew the risks when i let you use Chaz, he's a 100% all out worker, stay til dug, line bred back to the beginning, Meg is not what most terriermen would call a 100% worker although i'm sure there is a place for a fox dog which can

Describe a good working Patterdale
downsouth replied to swanseajack's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
i will answer this one for pickaxe one where he can get the lad whos kenneling his dog to line another lads bitch then send another lad to get the only bitch in the litter even though the owner of the dam offers him money as his bitch is old and he really needs it but the lad hands her over as pickaxe says he really needs her as an outcoss but promises if said pup goes anywhere it goes back then sells it 3 months latter for 300 quid without even phoneing the lad to tell him -
the first dog i used a few tears back was my mates dog charlie (wheelers sally x phelans nip) this dog was 1/8 bull and produced some very good dogs when put to different bitches the second dog i used belonged to the same mate and was just under 1/4 bull linebred off variouse wheeler dogs this was the dog that produced rabbithunters dog the last litter was by meg back to her own son by charlie this litter produced some decent stuff (REAL EARLY STARTERS) a bitch ended up with mr wheeler and a dog with rabbithunters mate. Megs next litter which will be her last as she is knocking on now will be

i dont mean anythink by this lads but why would you want bull blood in terriers like patts and lake's. the patts ive got are off they heads and dont stop,no revesre gear. just car'nt see the point. the last thing i want is a terrier in a terrier is a headcase with no reverse gear and and at the end of the day if i was that way inclined i could find a reverse gear in any terrier. The dog in the picture is out of my old bitch and is under an 1/8 bull.Personally i wouldnt want much more than that. What i like about just a little bull blood is good bone strong head/jaw and strong constitution. An

glad to see hes still going well bud,im going back to that type of blood next time i breed meg which will be her last litter wasnt to pleased with the last breeding i did with the chaz dog,the wheeler stuff works well with meg Just out of curiosity why were you not happy as the litter must still only be pups .just a genuine question pm if you wan t the pup i kept very unsteady and would scream his head off and bark at everything and i mean everything and nothing would stop him he would run barking at people from 50 yards away including childrenand was hyper tense all the time,my mate

Ive got a bitch scott/sandvally lines one of the original litter imported from alan scott i also have a sporting bull terrier and for years owned bull/greyhounds all have been worked alongside my terriers and on the lamp. The bulldog had a superior nose to all the others but i do suspect she has hound in her way back. Now iim not saying there isnt the odd exception but i really dont think the ab has much to offer to a lurcher.Ive heard loads off stories off them catching deer, foxes etc but found this to norally to be a load of crap spoken by people who have no real hunting experience trying to

Collars arrived yhis morning excellent quality (really strong but still nice and light ) transmitter fits nice and tight in its pouch with a decent strap which fastens inside the collar. Two turned up with three normal collars and two leads all made to the measurements that i asked for in under 48 hours from when i sent my transmitter off. This is the standard of service i have come to expect from strongstuff and why i wont go anywhere else for my dog gear.

Why bother with the crap of making a collar when that scouser will probably do a far superior job for the same price as a couple off pints and a kebab and have it to you in a couple of days
