    Scopes

Got an ags swat 4-16x56 mildot.Might seem a bit ott,but the light gathering qualitie's at dusk and on the lamp make it worthwhile, plus my lad doe's a bit of target with it.F*****g heavy though when your lunking it round the golf course at 2 in the morning
  2. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...showtopic=14426 Try here mate.
  3. Jock,i just seen this on the airgunbbs, but i'd be quick cos it's at the right money. airarms s200 mk2 .177 calibre 10 shot conversion logun silencer jsr 6-24x50 mil dot £275 delivered next day. Crackin set up to get you started mate.
  4. Fair comment, but i wouldn't let my dog go to ground with a mk1 on.Not saying i don't care about me fert's,yeh the batterie's are probably not on a par with the stuff jeweller's charge you £7.50 for,but i get far more than one session out of mine, and if i wanted to,there cheap enough to change every time. And i'm not spending a whole pound on the missus this christmas, dya think i'm f*****g made of money.
  5. Jock if you want a multi purpose tool, then it's .177.I've been shooting for the best part of 30 year's.I love old springer's and as a kid i only bothered with man size pellet's .22.Now with the pcp's on the scene, shooting an air rifle is far easier than when i started out, zero recoil, quieter, more acurate, etc. While i don't consider myself a marksman,i'm more than competent with an air rifle..177 has a flatter trajectory,so is easier to aim at distance,as there will be less pellet drop,is more penetrative, which when shooting feather is more important than stopping power. While a .22 is a handy to
  6. Your right Duz,weren't pretty at the time but not to bad once he was cleaned up and sprayed.Didn't scar, and the hair had grown back within a few week's.Not a mark where it was now, even though it was deep.
  7. I got a card full of watch batteries from a local pound shop.30 batteries on the card,6 are ag13 357,which fit the mk1 collar i use with the ferts, and 6 are the next size down which fit the tip lights i use on my beachcaster's.

You left yerself wide open fer that sock's.
  9. If your talking 12ftlbs,then it must be .177.As stated above the trajectory is much flatter,so easier to shoot. As Joe said try the www.airgunbbs.com should get a tidy set up for £350,lot's of knowledgeable people on there too.hth
  10. here's a couple of pics of my 1/4 bearded collie 3/4 grey she's from hancock's archie. she'll kill anything you tell her to. i use her in all kinds of places mostly woodland and a few small fields.
  11. Got into a bit of bother with an irate farmer after my pup dissapeared while out walking him one day,he was only 8 month's at the time.I managed to drag him out,but only cause he was just in.Swore i'd keep him on a lead, but like a t**t i let him off a couple of times later, and he went to ground again by himself.Yet again we got him back, but he took a few knock's.Hasn't put him off, but i'm sure it could have ruined him.Pic's taken after the dog was cleaned up,just in case it offended anybody.
  12. That's all well and good but just look how wet and muddy the little darling's are, they might get a chill. How inconsiderate are you,i suggest they be taken straight home for doggy choc's and a nice can of caesar, they aren't even wearing nice little tartan jacket's!!.pmsfl dont no what you mean by that bill88 was that taking the pis out of my replie? ???? Not at all mate, how did you come to that conclusion? Read the thread from the beginning,i'm sure you'll see who it's aimed at.
  13. Poacher, anyone who has spent any time on this and other hunting forum's,would know how well you look after your dog's mate.I don't think you need to explain yourself to anyone.I don't think anything need's deleting imo, nothing wrong with a bit of debate,as long as it doesn't get personal.jmho.

  17. Spot on there Tommy.I boxed as a kid,and have been following the fight game for 30 year's.Anyone who know's anything about boxing, could see just how limited khan is,i'm not knockin the kid cos i know how much bottle it takes to get in the ring, but he's a media creation. As you said even at domestic level,he'd be in big trouble.Too many yes men around him,naz did the same later in his career, and look what happened. As for audrey's performance, william's is the most unpredictable boxer on earth, and it showed.Harrison always look's classy untill he get's hit, last night proved nothin to me,the guy's
