That's me totally f****d then,i had my hob done early feb, the vet said 2 to 3 week's and he'd be firing blank's .I caught him servicing the jill this morning so i guess i'll be advertising kitts in a couple of month's.Anybody?

Wouldn't consider meself an expert,but from my own experience i would say the advantage's are, Peace of mind, knowing that the gun will do the job. Flatter arc,i don't think it extend's range,i just think you can sight the target much more quickly than with a sub 12ftlb gun. As for an fac superten? never used one,but they are a decent enough tool at legal limit.If i was making a choice on fac performance rather than cost,i would go with a rapid,proven performer at fac level's.hth's,Bill

Ditch,i am not the brown noseing,ego massaging type,but i do enjoy your thread's and i would value your opinion on this subject.First let me say my dog's, three terrier's,a colliexgrey lurcher,and a beddyxwhippet arriving shortly,are fed on dry (jame's well beloved,or burn's) mixed with either raw (what i catch or shoot,and or tripe mince) and occasionally a tin of butcher's. Now i know you've detailed your view's on dry,and why you wont feed your dog's on it,but? why did you decide to feed barf,and where to did you get the info you needed to make this decision from? Opened the ferret hutch this morning after hearing the jill squealling,the hob was going like a seasoned pro.The hob was vasectomised in early february,and the vet's reckoned he'd be firing blank's within a fortnight.Finger's crossed she come's out of season in the next fortnight,and she don't surprise me with anything,in about six weeks time.I'll keep you all posted.

Dobby,you probably know more than me on the subject,seeing as i have no experience with the type.But i was told that if you mate beddyxwhippet to a beddyxwhippet,they are never as good as a first cross,which would be a beddy put over a whippet,or whippet put over a beddy,F**k me i'm confusing meself I've just bought a First cross,as this is what a man in the know told me i needed.What's the right breeding to have?Bill

I know the kind of thing your talking about mate,the lad i go out with made something similar at work.He used an old shortened weightlifting bar and welded a 4 inch wide 1/4 inch thick plate to one end,and ground to a blunt point at the other.It'll cut through baked hard clay like butter,but it's as heavy as f**k.I have to get him to use it cos i ain't got the right technique,well that's what i tell him

Was just finishing some footing's at work,when it started hailing.Not icey hail but like mini snowball's.I was unrolling some hessian and had a quick look up at the sky WHACK!! feckin hail stone smack's me straight in the eye don't know how big the one that hit me was but it was sore,and some of them were like marble's,about 3/4 inch wide.Driving home the road's were covered in the thing's and it sounded like someone was throwing stone's at the car.Anyone else have the same?Took a picture on me phone but you can't really make it out.

Good stuff.Me brother had to go and get one of his terrier's back from the local kennel's after she dissappeared a few years ago.He seen a whippet lurcher when he was there,and ended up bringing her home.Never bothered with show's or racing,but she ended up a great lamping dog.

My mate's terrier just had a litter.All the pup's were born with docked tail's,weird eh
