    Pup is doing well, been working well on rats digging himself not to the spade. Had him ragging as in the video, been with the terrierman on the shoot and he is showing promise.

    Got any pics of the dog? How is he trained will he pick up or just a brushing dog? Is he steady to the flush etc? Any way good luck rehoming him I'm sure someone will help you out.

    tell me what the dvds like mate, looking to buy it with xmas monney It's not as I thought it would be, not so much delving into his past more just some posh women with to much time on her hands researching mainly were he lived and what children he had. I thought were would be more tales from his mooches. The women doesn't understand fieldsports or poaching bar what she has read and it certainly shows.

    The isn't anything you can do in this weather, at -13 degress it will freeze most things insulated or not.

    Well the freezer is full and I could really do with some space, so if anyone near Barlaston wants some there more than welcome.

    Terriers are noisey any way, but if you don't it to give it a crack. All this tin shaking and treats is a load off bollocks, also it most probably wants to go out and do some thing not just sit in the house.

    We were out yesterday and the birds just refused to fly, gave up after dinner the snow was coming down to heavy.

    Couldn't tell you, the sire was KC with pedigree I can ask my mate what lines he is from but the bitch wasn't so we don't know. They just both worked well so were bred from.

    Having a shine about tonight will be leaving shortly and not returning till charlie is no more.

    It's good to see a choc lab in good condition. Nice dogs as a whole, I'll be up a couple of mine all been seen before but what the hell.

    Well to think about it logically not just it makes them soft approach. A dog uses food to help keep them warm, so if they have an hour or two with heat on them they can use the nutrients in the food to help muscles repair and re-fuel them for the next day rather than just being used to help keep warm. Just my thoughts if its really cold I don't think it does any harm.

    Flubenvet, much easier as already added to the pellet the mix if even thoughtout the feed.

    19 brace of pheasant 4 brace of partridge, the birds were put over just the shooting seems a bit rusty. Would have put a bigger write up on just didn't have time. It would be good to see more pics or write ups about driven / walked up or roughshooting days from the keepers in the gamekeeping section.

    Just a few pictures taking by one of the beaters on the day, the day as a whole went well and couple of drives were disappointing but plenty of time for improvement.

    At least you have got started and didn't go home empty handed. I wish i had ferrets that could use air rifles . Anyway seriously well done good luck with the rest of the season.

    Well my first day is the 30th, the birds are in the drives, holding well so far (touch wood). So hopefully things will go well. How is everyone else getting on if you have started already?

    Mine will retrieve foxes, can tell he doesn't really like to but will if sent.

    Does anyone else agree that non KC reg dogs should be allowed to take part in field trails? Why does it matter if there reg with KC surely if an idependant vet certifies that there a pedrigree breed then why can't they run? I'm sure there are some out there with out papers that can beat the dogs that are KC but can never prove them selves. Oh well rant over let me know your thoughts.

    Mine isn't KC Reg and he works just fine, it doesn't matter to me if there KC or not as long as both are in good health and can work then why not breed. Surely thats why we breed for working ability not cause a bit of paper can add 400 quid extra to the pups.

    Same here its my first terrier just hope I bring the best out in him. Well I'm free every weekend unless where shooting on saturday, will keep you updated on his progress.
