He's 7 months now, stops to the whistle, retrieves from land and water, retrieved pigeons live to hand, shot guns don't bother him had him out with me when clay shooting and rough shooting.
Never read one but really interested in having a look through. Has anyone got any old ones there willing to donate or sell?
P+P Will be paid by pay pal.
Thanks
I'll be starting 5th September, and keep going untill I see the first lot of young appear.
Using the same three as last year and hopefully try this years kits near the end of the season.
It went in next to my eye brow and ended up by my ear and jaw bone there just going to leave it unless it causes problems.
8SHOT - Wish i had the pellet something to remember it by.
As the title suggests had a mishap whilst out rat shooting in the calf pens at my work not so long back. Took a shot at a fat little b*****d and the pellet ricocheted back of the wall and came back to say hello to the side of my head.
Had an operation 4 weeks ago to try to remove it but they couldn't get it out. And by the way it bloody well hurt and it's only a 11ftlb springer.
When it happened and thats not my bathroom at home its the shower room at work.
Hospital X-Ray showing the pellet
After the operation the scar goes from my ear to three quaters across my head someth
Just after a bit of advice, I'm releasing a total of 60 mallard onto two flight ponds where I work. Never had flight ponds before.
Is it the same as pheasants just open the crates and let them venture out?
Do I release them to where I will be mainly feeding?
I am thinking of using pallets anchored out in the water to act as rafts safer for them than on the banks because of charlie etc.
I've just bred my first litters from my three jills, and before anyone says I have got most of what will hopefully survive alreay ear marked for new homes. I thought it was best to keep them seperate so knocked this up for housing them whilst raising there kits.
On moday I thought I would clean the hutches again just before the jills were due which should have been today opened the first nest box and to my surprise found this.
Haven't bothered with them since and there is alot of squeeking coming from each nest box will keep you posted on how they do.
Getting a nice tan ll heard all weekend is 'm burnig i need sun cream my hayfever is paying up and then to top it off asking my missus for some after sun you tart.
All in all a very good weekend will be doing it again soon. But you wont be able to sleep its to quiet your used to the concrete jungle.
A good weekend mr tea pot, very enjoyable don't run off from the bullocks again thats why they chase you you jessy lol! All in all a very good weekend to much beer i think tho sunday morning my head was pounding.
Either sandy or poley medium sized don't want small or to large kits. sounds a bit picky but don't just want to breed them with anything if you know what i mean.
Asked before about getting a hob for my three jills. Jills are well in season and could really do with getting them mated.
Live in between stafford and stoke. Will be willing to travel either to leave ferrets to be covered or bring the hob to mine. either which ever is easier for the person with a hob.
Please anyone who can help please PM me or leave a reply.
Many thanks
As the title suggests my jills are coming into season and need to get a hob sorted to mate with them. I'm in Barlaston near Stoke so if anyone can help me out them please PM me.
