    Congrats mate on the FAC. Is getting a FAC for a airifle any different from a bullet gun say a .22 rimfire?or is it the same as?. Do you need a certain acreage of land? And are they less strict about airpowered weapons?. Just wandering i am thinking of going for a FAC for a airrifle just wondering what things the FLO needs to know

    On my ferreting ground we net up as many burrows as possible so by the time we are done the first set is ready for ferts to be put in. I agree with andy on that,also if any rabbits slip your nets or they bolt from a hole you can't see/net up they will probably get back netted down the bank

    Yes i thought about the ferret on their tails but surely if the rabbits had the ferret on their tails on the unnetted side they would bolt at speed?.Some of the rabbits that hopped out of the holes just hopped down another and then the ferret popped out of the hole the rabbit just came out off.

    I was ferreting a warren in a hedge,one side of the hedge you could not set purse nets as there was a electric fence right up againest it on the other side you could set purse nets. It was ferreting this hedge that made me wonder about something.The rabbits that where bolting on the long net side where just hopping from hole to hole,not realy at speed while on the other side the rabbits where hitting the nets at high speed.It made me wonder if the rabbits know the purse nets are there and try a barge them out the way as they would grass or some thing.What do other people think as to why rabbi

    Doing all the work you was to busy fannying about with your hairnet.......sorry longnet. You took photos of anything every 2 mins the camera was clicking away,it was like ferreting with david bailey I was the one carrying everything...........well the flask It was a good day enjoyed it,i was surprissed we got any to be honest myxi hit that farm hard.

    Good bag there mate. I know what you mean about the wind i was ferreting yesterday and it was blowing a gale all day and it was cold with it.
