  5. have you got shares in the company or something?! to be honest, with knives you usually get what you pay for...i used to buy cheap knives. only thing was,i spent more time sharpening them than using them! i have a colt ridgerunner now,had it a while and not sharpened it yet.still sharp as a razor. i have to agree with Pitindall on this aone also half of the knives on this page are illegal in the uk even with just cause ie hunting. better off with a whitby with sheave for £15 from any gun shop.
  6. i use a light foce 140 very good lamp and very cheap for the filters, the batterys are heavy though but dreben make good pouches for them keep you eye out as they come up on here quite often and deker is right about the dimmer. ta john
  7. the way i understand the law is that you are allowed to send and receive any air rifle you like provided you are allowed by law to hold such a weapon. ie 12 ft lbs etc. the law states that any purchase of air weapon must be conducted face to face. there are gun shops which are still offering a personal delivery sevice by one of their own employees in there own vehicle which gets around this! there would be nothing to stop you purchaseing an air gun from the usa or timbuktoo however where the law gets sticky is that you could not receive the item directly from the retailer as this is classed as
  8. the local police will be showing interest if you havent got a fac mate.... i beleive that there are different rules in ireland eg they have to have a liscence for any airgun be it a 6 lbs plinker or a 60lbs daystate.
  9. i had a wierhauch silencer on my S410k e and it sounded sub 12 lbs compared to the original airarms one, definately worth the £50 i paid. i now have one on my super ten to replace the parker hale one
  10. i voted carbine to, however shooting full length super ten at the moment (i do miss my s410k though)
  11. The single-lens reflex (SLR) camera uses an automatic moving mirror system which permits the photographer to see exactly what will be captured by the film or digital imaging system, as opposed to non-SLR cameras where the view through the viewfinder could be significantly different from what was captured on film. taken from wikipedia SLR is a camera where you are looking through a viewfinder at the same image as is seen by the lense!!! the camera you have here is a fixed lense slr where as on my canon 350d its an slr with interchangable lens. this cyber shot of yours is a cracking camera a
  12. need to be a donator to post in sales mate!!!! also state where you are from have a read of the stickys atb john
  13. cool i like the idea of nameing the quantity as i have bought pellet packs before and only had 10 or so of each pellet. sometimes not enough.......... let me know what pellets you have!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. WHAT CHRONY DO YOU HAVE?? i have a chrony f1 gives measurements in feet per second. to get foot pounds take the pellet weight Multiplied by FPS x FPS and divide the whole lot by 450437 that will give foot pounds. cheers john
