    Thanks for the advice Jeff . Should I wrap the dummy in a pelt, or does this come later? A pelt would be good but when i teach mine i use different types of dummy some fur some feather some big some small as she grows use a tennis ball rubber ring a variation it all helps later in life.

    Hi James take your time teach her to come to call retrieve & socialise her break her to ferrets once she is retrieving throw her dummy up the garden path in the dark shine a tourch on her dummy so it is lit up & encourage her to go down the tourch beam & retrieve the dummy you can start all this from now good luck

    when you say soaked what do you mean by that dipped in it before you put them on the hook or left in for a hour or two. Pour the essance in to the maggots shake them up & leave all day then ready to use that night

    The pre b** coursing height limit was 20 inch to the shoulder. The Pedigree racing height limit is 21 for dogs & 20 for bitches & a 14-32lbs weight limit.

    They were the best lines but did not win any major competitions for a few years pre b** there a lot of out crosses from these lines that are much improved & a lot of the coursing folk are out crossing to racing blood to improve speed.
