    Coursing under rules pre ban Banatay/Laguna/Terichline/Chyton/ but imo the best single coursing dogs pre ban were Whats Behind The Mask/Skylark Majestic/Ultra Vixen & Bellagosie they were all one litter out of Special Little Rat (Sooty Sam X Gorwynne Glisando) & by Banatay Bismarck who himself holds the breed record for producing winning coursing whippets.     I don't know alot about whippets and whippet lines. I only have one whippet at present and she was bought for rabbiting and hopefully bagging a few hares next season.You seem very clued up and I have no doubt they are all famous bloodlines. Im sure I will hear more of them in the future if I get into either racing, coursing / lure coursing but at the moment I am concenrating on training my pup. She is a year old now and I will be giving her a few runs shorly. I have been working on her obediance for the past few months and hop it is all going to come together now in the field. Over many

    Regarding this becoming a Hancock like thread, why shouldn't it???? why should Hancock get slated but Mike Brown's a hero? Whats the diferance between the two? both breed for proffit so are both puppy pedlers in my view. The vast difference is that all Mike Browns whippets are tested in the field unlike Mr Hancocks stock Mike does not breed dogs for a living where Mr Hancock does There are lots of people happy with their hancock lurchers but still he get s slated.     Is that the same Mike Brown who had a pictures up on his web site of two different dogs in different pictures but with the same summer rabbits hanging on a stick in the back-ground. When I pointed it out one of the pictures suddenly disappeared. I don't know about any pics. But if you have an axe to grind with Mike Brown phone him & ask him in person.

    Sooty Sam was a well known working whippet able to take Rabbit Hare & single handed fox day or night not a myth a fact. Sooty Sams sire was Black Lance his Dam was Gilscar Soft Whisper. Grand Parents were Laguna Leezer X Blue Sued & Martinsell Sweet William X Fine Lace.
