    Pilgrim a lot will depend terrain & if the whippets are run as a pair or single handed you will catch more running a pair Also the slip will be an advantage or disadvantage depending on its length If put up under foot most good whippets are able to catch a hare but as has already been said they are rabbit dogs & defo not saluki's

    The Blurstreak kennel is owned by Cathie Brown they are based in chippenham Cambs they show mainly Bluestreak Lanfranco is the sire of a racing whippet called Go With The Flow it races at the Independent racing club at Worcestershire Also the sire of Trenthyde Florence Results from The Whippet Club Show Obedience Classes Judge Sue Abrahams Pre Beginner 1st Mrs E Third Bruntsfield Play Away (CH PeperonePlayoff- Tradewind Gemstone of Bruntfield) 2nd Mrs A Loch Trenthyde Florence ( Bluestreak Lanfranco of Suffeina - Nimrodel India) 3rd Mrs J M Morrall Moonlake Ma

    Poachyn whippets were originally Poaching Whippets don't know why the name was changed,They were formed in 1960 by Mary Rigby from Devon she specialised in breeding black whippets producing CH/Poaching Black Jack i think he was the first black Champion,Poaching Tadpole a CC winner,Poaching After Dark a reserve CC winner & ,Poachyn Blue Jeans At Laurelcote also a reserve CC winner & Poaching Night Flight all for the show ring they origanate from the Test & Allways bloodlines from the 1950s Ousebank also produced for the show ring Ousebank Morning Melody was a reserve CC winner.

    I went lamping with Mike & Sooty Sam when he was a young dog he was a very good lamping whippet
