i posted this very thing a year or two back Frank,at the time the uspca up here had wangled the use of the police chopper.the police were a little peeved that after great expense the hoardes of badger diggers they were promised never materialised. haven't heard much about it since.

Not true. We've been into this lately. There is NO law which prohibits the release of healthy rabbits. If you think there is, please quote it chapter and verse. i stand corrected , i was following a thread in the trapping section which stated that . like i said 'as im aware' . i am wrong news to me also,i was led to believe it's illegal to introduce non native animals. something that's not illegal for a change...how about that!

i had a little salukixwhippet/grey once that wasn't a lot of use,being a young stupid boy i blamed the saluki blood rather than myself. 2 yrs ago and 20 years later i took on a pup,saluki/greyxirish terrier/grey.....starting to look like the smartest thing i've done in a long while.

all depends on wether the conditions that caused the scarcity still exist,it has worked in the past though

good lad,had a crack at one field last night(been asked to remove the rabbits by whatever means needed)three half slips with nowt caught lol.very bright and still down this way last night. like the look of those whippets Robert.
