That was my first cross 10yrs ago. He stood at 27tts, and filled the family freezer weekly. He was used for stud 4 times over the last 10 years to carefully chosen bitches and produced very good stock which are around today and worked.

You will find that the dogs go through the stage of learning everything you throw at them, then ONE DAY it all seems to go wrong and you think, "Fck what happened there then" Dont be disapointed, the dog is becoming more confident, stick to your normal trainning programme, dont change it, remain calm when he becomes stuborn, dont raise your voice no matter how much you want to. It will pass, but someone has mentioned already, you need to explain what the dog is actually doing. Sometimes IT can be the owner at fault, and im not saying you are. -
Bird is right. I have 3 cats and all the dogs get on fine, no chasing, no snapping etc..... They were intoduced as pups, and the cats will always hiss and show their claws which is more than enough for the dogs to stop licking their lips and think twice. BUT be careful of other cats, as mine will and have chased the odd village TOM!

Thanks Tiny 7, Red dog is 12months 25tts, and the black and tan is 5 months 23tts. If he continues to be the way he is now, learning, listening and communicating in the field then its all i want. The rest will follow. Sorry Chris for hijacking your thread!

Whats the full story here? Did they die from being kept in the vehicle with no air? I take it they were working Police Dogs, so i dont think they were kept in a unnecessary way, i.e not feed, watered, excersiced etc..... This will be interesting im sure.

Sri Lanka are doing great deals at the moment for as little as £1000. Great place, cheap, lovely beaches and you are treated with the upmost respect! Lovely people.

The ASBO is a great tool when served. However to serve an ASBO you will need as much CONCRETE evidence as you can supply. Continue gathering your evidence against this family then forward it on the the officer in charge of your case. Once served the family will not want to breach it! ASBO's can take a while, months even years to be authorised through the courts. Good luck and all the best.
