cant beat the forsty mornings.evening if i got noting still nice to be out

was up tismorning myself and a mate of mine hit out to check a few holes.was a cold moring thought wed got a fox in ground checked a few spots were ran but noting at home.put my red dog into a big earth was a long time checking it.when he came out i put him on the lead.we decided to check a small earth down the ditch droped red dog at the hole in he went i could here him baying then not.got him on the box at 0.7.handy as f**k.

its nice to say your dog would stay for 6 hours but unfortunatly i never had a six hour dig had a few 3 hour digs.i understand what u are saying about breeding of proven dogs every man has diffrent standards of what a proven dog is.if your terrier has worked well for a few seasons in diffrent type earths in diffrent places.and never let you down and you have got alot of game.then of course it is worth breeding off would be good enough for me.if you were waiting for a 6 hour dig then you wouldnt have much terriers around.

was out today for a few hours finished work for 2 weeks so its down to hunting.were out at 7.30 put in my old red dog in a boggy earth got him handy at 0.8 on the box which was grand.went to the next spot droped mates old black bitch that i have for a while got her handy at 0.7.went on to the next spot put in old black bitch got her at 10 dug her on an earth that runs beside the railway track.and before any one starts mouthing off about digging beside the railway track.the train passes every 3 hours and it was only after going by so it was safe.a good day even if they were all handy

my frist lucher i had used to run after them the same way when hed pick them up only for a few seconds and drop them again.done this for ages used to wreck my head.i gave him a few runs with an other dog and one or two times out he was picking them and holding them.keep trying mate.

was up at 6.30 tismorning was a right cold one went to the frist earth just as it was geting bright droped my mates young red bitch flew in was up on the fox stright away left her for about 20 mintues dug down about 2 foot took out bitch a let the fox off was her second dig. .next spot we went to let my dog in was working the fox when it bolted and caught by lucher.then we went to an earth i found in the summer looked well used let in my young black dog dug nice size dog fox took him out and let him run off

was out for a few hours tismorning was to wet to work.went to an earth i dug earlier in the year put in my young black dog he had a hard job in this earth its a big place but we got it shalow today.was very happy with the way he worked hope he stays at it had camrea in my jacket took a few pictures

yes it was handy ground can go up to 10 foot in parts of tis earth but got it not to bad

was out today for an hour.got a nice dig to my young black dog.his been out of action for a while seemed in top form when i let him out of his pen today so brought him with me.droped him at an earth staright in after a while could hear him baying away got a mark left him for a while and started to dig broke throught on dog and fox very happy with this dog so far this is a big earth to.
