    chilli mate wind your neck in . one mans opinion is just that . i wouldnt keep the bitch . simple as that and about everyone i know wouldnt either . but carry on with her by all means if it keeps you happy mate.

    hard truth mate but its time to give her away to a pet home and start again. never had this with a dog but i know i would not give it kennel space mate. there is tones of good litters about mate that will give you a second chance at a lamping bitch , i think i would water tho get somthing in the spring that will be readyto nter on easy summer bunnies next year .. sounds harsh im sure mate but nothing will put you off lurchers more than a dog that wont work. if you do get another pup make sure to let the pup have loads of time with dead rabbits.

    have you tryed .410's and ferrets mate . ? also we have had "better nights" when its shitting it down with rain , as you say just cruising round slowly picking them off with rifles. all the best matt

    thanks P&G but i have always been shit with wires . i find them realy frustrating. i can spend hours getting therm just right and never get anywhere. im realy in awe of you and your skills with the wires . if you ever did do a book i would defo buy a copy. all the best matt

    hi lads saw this on another thread so i thought i would give it a go.. after a failed ratting trip to some places nere me , i thought i would look to see what you guys do to bolt ratts ... better say that i invited antg and his lad for the day with there bull x pups and there good old terier on this day they traveled for hours to get there for the day and i let them down realy badly by not producing more than 8 ratts all day . for that lads im realy sory i feel like a tw@ .. any way we was hoping to move the rats with a chain saw (smoker) and by lifting bails with the tractor . this w

    hi lads pegand gun, beeen trying to catch them rats in the same manor as you with the pole snares and keep fooking it up . had 3 foul catches to legs and the rats got away . so i left the wires down and started traping again last night . in the first hours of dark i started catching .. gotanother in a spring snaer on single strand but the twisting must have fateged and snaped the wire . i gota say im terible with snares anyway all ways have been even after being trained with them by a very good keeper years ago. i dont think im much of a traper either but i do get better results

    hi guys im intrested in knowing a bit more about 410 autos and pumps but leaning more towards the autos. any body got experiance with them .. iv looked them up on the pc and have a few numbers im gona contact in the morning .. just thought i would ask and se if you guys had used them before and if so what they like. all the best matt

    h&n barcuda are fantasic . but you might want to try hollow points all the big names do um now . shoot some stuf with them open up and see what they look like .. they hit realy hard on flat serfaces and bone giving you some seriouse stoping power. well done on the rat mate its satasfinig to kill them things anyway but with a good shot all feel right with the world.

    i would say yes mate i favoe a 177 over a 22 every time .. i dont think you will notice any diferance withh 177 impact.. you will ,i feel be much more acurate with a 177 at longer ranges so will hit pin point vital spots ie brain. iv droped all sorts with ease with a 177 even a fox cub a 25 yards in the lamp . it was years ago i must ad i was littel more than a kid . and the gun was a 177 titan manatou (now falcon) all the best matt

    the law dont matter on this does it? iv proudly been poachiong since i was 8 years old all ways will ... i wont apologise for it either .. dont get me wrong i do ask for permission and have got some but if i see things i want over my boundries i will go anyway. the only time the law counts is if you get caught bang to rights ... andf lets be honest we all do the same as we did before the ban anyway ..

    i knew i was gona get shit for that post ok lads iv never been there my self so cant tell you how good or bad hes dogs are kept. lets try to help this lad a bit he seems ok and is asking some good questions . if he had the dog and only now was asking we would be slagging him rotten.. in stead of me ok try earth dog running dog there is often lads advertisng colli croses in there , well there was last time i bought it. im sure there was pups out of some linme bred colli stuf drum is it ? duno but dont stop asking mate as you will learn loads if you can keep your head throug

    hancock will have some mate . try a beardie collie 3/4 bred . ie 2/4 grew 1/4 beardi . i know most folks hate him but i have heard so many good thing about his beardi colli crosses that they must be worth a look ... he breeds alot of dogs and might have somthing at 5 or 6 months old that will cut down on the waiting time to actualy getting some work done with the dog. all the best matt

    beddi cros migt be the answer but it wont do the fox and deer as well as the bull job would . id get a bul;l cros and tell her it got no bull in it . she wont know and after 10 months it will part of the family anyway she would be a cold woman to kick it out then.

    for the list of requirments why not go bull whipet grey hound ? the size would be good and would do all the jobs you just outlined .. if its bred bull grey hound to a whippet then it would be 3/4 shiht hound. duno mate but i would give it a littel thought before jumping in... its a proven good cross unlike a greyhound deerhound collie salukie x which i have never heard of ... brains and bull dog crosses dog go to geather alot more than folks think. but go and get what ever it is you want matye as in the end its your dog and you will love it to bits.

    thanks p&g got one out on the bigest or heavyest used run in my garden. iv used 2 strand made from a desembled shop bought snare . nail in dowl "style" and a fiberglass rod from B&Q .. the hole thing looks good .. all i need now is that rat iv seen time and time again thats the size of a young rabbit to get him self caught. im at work tommoroow and there is loads of hazel so i will cut aload . question does the haxel need to be dried ? all the best matt

    ok boys got a female lanner to sell . shes a social imprint benn flow as a demo bird and hunted . stands for a,i, incubates but will not rear. has produced for last 5 years . she is 10 years old so im only looking for £250 shes got tones of life in her yet and is a steady bird with kids etc. so please get in touch if you are intrested. all the best matt
