    we filmed some ratting in the snow last year and as one of the terrier cros bitches is digging away at a tube my whippet bitch strols up and licks her twat !! its the funnyest thing ever all the lads was laughing .

    i like to use chese mate . it sounds comical but works well. its gives off an odor what ever the weather . its fatty (they love fats and will take risks for it) and easy to use . small pieces on the trap floor and entrance with a good sized trigger bait. iv caught loads using this method the only draw back is that the od robin or black bird is caught but its no bother to release them and reset. make sure you traps are well weathered before you set them though as scent will diter tham but not that badly as rats are drawn to human inhabitance anyway. gloves will defo help though

    i would likwe to use heavey bull greyhounds on that lot. im dead jelouse coote . i live with a celt women we have a boy togeather , she can be a strange woman at times . but likes all feild sports . she can shoot , fish , is a good dog women and loves to coarse and lamp with them. he faverate is bull stuf tho she likes working stafs and has been known to slip them in to big stuf that bites back. on the hole she is a crazy scotish bird tho lol back to nz hunting . if you came acros goats like that here they would be some hippie small holders flock and would get you self in hot

    thanks coote i might take you up on the offer one day. i would love to explore nz the wilder parts most. and hunting is somthing we should all do every where we can . i dont get chance to kill pigs ever well not since i was a butcher anyway. id like to do some fishing over your way to as i know its some of the best in the world. also i like the look of mowery women if thats spelt right lol all the best

    iv shot both in the feild and at comp level and pcp is the future . if springers where so good why do the leading field target guy shoot pcp. any way back to helping this lad out . yes the s200 will drop anything on the list you provided. i shot geese ducks squirels rabbit rat ferrel cat pigeon ... pritty much every thing with my one . dont listen to these guys about pcp over springers mate . its a personal choice and its all down to you when your out in the field .

    sounds ok mate . any pcp will shoot targets 2ox better than a sprinnger mate. but the ultra is a tiny gun with tiny amounts of shots per fill. get a airarms s200 there chep realy acurate and a gopod gun they are always up second hand and the 10 shot ad on will improve it alot. the old scool guys will tell you top go springer but dont listen mate pcp all the way.

    yeah i think id go for the .22 aswell but a realy soft low volocity round defo subsonic . maybe even a pistol to reduce the volocity and power from the round with a hollow point jobie.

    no mate its legal to control fox populations , with snares guns and traps still. you can still dig to foxes with terriers . and you can flush fox to waiting guns with dogs (only 2) or to a bird of prey. its an ofence to intentionaly hunt foxer hares mink etc with dogs but accidents are over looked as long as there is odviouse other contoll methods being used at the time .ie walking out with a shot gun and a lurcher with the intention of using the dog to retreve shot or wounded animals.     hello mate .. i think you are asking a very complicated question here one that can not be easyly answered. the main reason being that most litters produce in excess of 6 pups , and most working dog litters are produced to better or produce more workers for the owner of the bitch, with extras for sale to cover costs . so most people will experiment with litters looking for there perfect pup and sell the rest or cull the crap and run on the saplings they favor. it might be better for you to do the same and breed from dogs you know and like and pick pups that have there look or feel

    i know this is about trapping and snaring . BUT i would think lamping and either a 22 rim fire or a close shot with a 410 would do the trick. and if that was a no go cos of pelt damage i would clip them out and go for the fur market rather than peltsi bet they wouldnt notice the diferance if it was plucked or clipped. intresting topic tho
