    B&Q sell the apoxi putty car places like allwoods sell it to might be called liquid metal ? easy to us and work , very string stuff , it can be threaded if needs be to , i used it to make some broad heads for a compound bow the other year , just set 2 stanly knife blades in the putty on the end of the arrow , terrably inaccurate but stood up well to use !!! was a 65lbs draw weight bow to . but like kev says its just the job for file work , lots of gentle buffing will see it turn a nice dark shade.

    here we go again . this lot are protypes looking for new designs etc . there priced to sell cos like you lot im broke and cant afford any materials till i sell something . forst up . im sad to say are seconds because if handle or pin issues . thats th knives and sheaths as you can see there kydex , i dont have any para cord or they would have belt loops or neck hangers on them but thats an easy fix for you lads . big one which has burl wood £40 and the smaller one with corian £25 sold now theugly bit its just hair line cracking but is nothing more than ugly i dont imagineit will ever

    first for 2013 . 3 offerings first up hand forged (by me ) mosaic damascus . pattern is "firestrom" made of 3 seperate bars of mosaic steel . the pattern in each bar is called explosion pattern , which is complex and very contempary amongs smith at the moment im told not many can do it !!? anyway weld the 3 tegeather and you get firestrm pattern , its a nob to make as the pattern is hidden in the core of the billet meaning you have to grind away well over 50% of the original billet to find the pattern . it has w1 and w2 steel in there for the dark element and nickel steel as the contrast .

    bloody hell they look great !! i bet your proud of them ? im glad you guy put my stuff to good use , how do you find stick/key tangs to finnish compared with full tang . iv only made a small number of stick tangs iv struggled with them but about 3 weeks before xmas it "clicked" and i think i have it sussed out , makes for a wider range of handle materials to be used (natural stuff espesialy) and a lighter knife . all the best , matt

    120 grit then ca it sand back to 240 ca it and so on and so on , light buff with felt mop and white compound will look like glass !! looking good i like the back fill ! all the best , matt

    thanks i like it very much to , my grandfather just looked at it and said in the flesh its hard to say which is better the pattern in the steel or the wood !! everything is now sold fellas that it from me for 2012 im just working on one last knife for a local lad then im done , im gonna have a nice break get drunk eat to much and just relax for a week or two , then back at it in the new year and try to make this bigger and better than ever before !! a big thank you to all of you for your support and custom its all been very welcome after the hard work but the support mean alot !! m

    forrest and feild is now sold thanks fellas , 2x key tangs £15 the pair still available also this one . this is me covering my arse !! a friend is comiong over to have a look at this tomorrow , but if he dont want it will be fore sale at £100 posted next day delivery , so its officialy on hold for now , but if its not sold will be available . hand forged damascus and burl/curly birch buffalo horn and brass handle , with hand made sheath . steels or o1 and high narbon nickel steel . the blades made of 5 seperate bars , 3 twisted in different directions to each other and two straight lamina

    ha ha , good little tool then if its safe for young uns to ! il do an order guys probably be in 420 stainless steel (sergical) so no rusting and no need for handles can just para cord wrap them or leave them plain . might go with bead blasted finnish to . oh as a side note iv just found 2 of they key tangs and the very very last forrest and feild blank . they where all hidden away . if your quick i can get them posted to you asap and you will get them before the big day or next day delivery if you pay for it . £15 for both key tangs and £20 for the forrest and feild .all the best

    i can get um to shine more than that and flatter finnished than that , nice little clue as what im aiming for next year !! do you mean the file work steve ? i just ground the handle back into the holes that run round the blank . or if you mean the rippling effect in the steel then thats just the trizact abrazive it has a weird nature to it . thank for the compliments fellas

    here we go then ........... this one is sold to my brother its gonna have a kydex sheath with fire steel also with buffalo horn , the finnish is 2000 grit fellas i dont know how long iv spent on this id say maybe 6-8 hours once the sheath is done . all the best ,,matt
