  1. not to sure, but i think i read on here somewhere £300 a line for wolfie, cheap really and he is supposed to be throwing god pups

  8. i travel all over coursing, and fen hares are the most testing by far....small fields with stone walls are great fun, especially with pups, but if i was wanting to test a dog it would be single handed down the fens, 6-6 is possible but it isnt a regular thing...
  9. it depends where abouts you go..most places are massive, there are small fields, and there are stoney parts in places, the majority is just nice big seeds, great for gettin your dogs lungs opened
  10. its heaven on earth, as you enter the county you must .....there is plenty of hassle down there, but you have to take the rough with the smooth....if you want to test a dog daytime its the place to go

    how far does the greyhound go back? is there any really old pictures of them? if so how do they compare to modern day dogs?

    joe if i ever take up lamping long ears ill give you a bell, but it doesn,t float my boat...i prefer daytime,single handed......as for foxes, my dog does them, he has done other stuff with teeth aswell, but i wouldnt call him a fox dog....a fox every now and again doesnt make a fox dog,....if uou dont belive me, i wont loose alot of sleep over it

    i own a saluki x that will kill foxes on his own, has done a few times....i only run them if they come within reach tho..my last one did aswell....and im pretty sure my yong dog here would make short work of one too..

    deney it till the end..no cmment....its harder for them to convict you than you think....
  24. there was a litter bred from bob and a saluki greyhound, 6 year ago...they were very fast tight dogs, great in fields just didnt have enough in the tank for a hard day on the fens..some of them went up scotland, i know 2 got pinched from up there but there might still be some up there, they would be worth trying to find, they sound the sort of dog your mate might be after
