ground is great round by me ...but there isnt any game for miles...went for a run down liverpool today it was pretty hard, the pete was ok to run on...oh and it was very windy

pups are great, there about 19 " now , 17 week old. there very saluki-ish but fast with it, im parting with 1 soon because they are fighting regular now, i still cant pick between them tho, even after all this time.... if i hadnt of got these pups tho id definatley had one of these snoop is advetising

watched the fight last night, it was a treat...joe won it easily, there was a few seconds there where kessler had hurt him but he powered on and came back with some lovely flurries....

snoop is correct there ....but snoop i wouldnt advice gettin 2 for your self there a nightmare .. im gettin rid of one of my young uns now, the hell has started.... ....would definatley recommend one of these pups, if your wanting to bag a few long ears

there all decent littlespots around the a1, thats were we warm the dogs up in the early season untill the fens are wet enough to run on, i like it over that way, its a bit closer than the fens , over hull there are some very decent hares around sunken island and withernsea ...you need a sharpish dog ( i think) to kill hares in numbers regular.... yes joe, we get plenty of hassle round boston, i got locked up a couple of times down there last season

i couse all round that area, there a good hare but not in the same league as a hare on a seed around boston...jmop

i cant belive this thread has gone on for so long ..there is nothing to debate about..fen hares in winter take some stopping regulary,they are the best , for me to get to the fens and back is 550 ish mile round trip, im prepared to travel that to test my dogs,if some one knows better hares, let us all know so we can have a run on them, and hopefully they will be closer to home for me

never mind snoop...either 6 or 10 isnt enough....if your wanting to win comps your dog needs to be really fit, up the miles to 12 miles per hour

if fen hares are so easy, why is no one down there killing double figure with there superior dogs? its easy enogh to hit the double figure mark on the lamp, but no one is doing it during the day , if certain breeds are killing heaps on the lamp , why arnt they doing in in daylight, even if they did half there average night-time tally they would be putting a saluki x to shame,
