Speaking from personnal excperiance i wouldnt go for a bedlington,had one years ago and it would get itself tangle in the bush and just sit there till i untangled it like i say just my excperiance not wanting to start any arguments,id go for a laky,russell or border.

I like some sort of wood with some thick cover inside for the terriers to work aswell as some decent setts , i also like to be out the way with no houses about it is gettihg really hard to find good ground now

Just wondering how you all got started working dogs,i started off going out with a mate and his brother with the lurchers thought it was the best thing in the world until i found working terriers,have also tried shooting but not for me,i still like a night out with the lamp but id rather be digging some brave warrior out of a sett.
