    For 6-700 your not gonna get much in a decent Landy bud. Prepare to be throwing money at it all day long. You should get something decent for the £1500 though, especially now as the prices have come down with the price of fuel. Make sure you get one before the bad weather sets in though as prices shoot up. You can get Fronty's dirt cheap, £1500 would probably buy a vehicle and pretty much pay the insurance as well.     Landy's are good, had a great TDi Disco. Wasn't great on fuel, but not bad and you can run em on veggie oil as well (well the older 200 and 300 tdi's you can). Not bad for parts etc and fixing unless it's major like diff etc. Prone to prop shaft problems but again not too expensive when they go. Had a couple of Frontera's in my time as well and really like those as well. Comfortable car for a 4x4 and very underated.     If we are out that long it's not constant walking. I'll just stop and let him play around smelling his surroundings etc so he's not overly stressing or putting much effort in necesarily.
