  1. Come on lads n lasses, surely someone can help me out?
  2. I'm in Stanley, County Durham. I was 39 years young yesterday. Any experience would be greatly received.
  3. Asked a couple of times now and come close, but nothing as yet. I've got s cracking little Russel who I would love to try on some rats. If anyone is able to offer me some advice and a day out I'd be much appreciative. Always living in hope.
  4. Yeah and trying to get help/advice/days out is like finding hens teeth half the time.
  5. He hasn't no. I'm new to field sport so take my days/night's where I can matey. It's hard to find folk who will help out and offer advice/time out.
  6. Alright it's not "wimpy", but you know how they get...all moody and shit . He had a right face on after the drive up. I know he's still young and he clearly knows what to do, just need some time and patience. It's not like he didn't have a go and he did get one on his first night out.
  7. Gunnar had his first night on the lamp last weekend. Mixed attempt, but at least he showed some promise. Nothing that a bit of work can't sort out. He's a bad traveller and a bit of a wimp (Saluki trait) so wasn't happy about the long car journey with two other more dominant bitches so that wasn't a great start. He watched 2 slips and we brought the rabbits back for him to smell and rag on but he didn't seem interested at all. On the third one of the lads suggested slipping him to see if he would double up or show interest...slipped him and nothing...for about 3 seconds and then off he we
  8. Last time I measured him he was 23.5 tts. He's a bit big, but yes he does still squash my Russell. Thanks for the kind remarks, can't wait to see him run as he is one fast puppy dog.
  9. Just a quick update on young Gunnar. He's come on a treat and is a great dog to own. Very...Saluki like with his temprament and attitude, so basically huffy when he gets wrong :-). Hoping to get him out and about this season, had a couple of offers for days/nights out so hopefully he'll do well. Seems pretty keen so touch wood.
  10. Sounds like a plan...
  11. Any more craic lads or has this gone cold?
  12. Good luck bud. I've asked several times and nothing as yet. Your just up the road from me too.
  13. Disco is one of the best do it all vehicles you can get in my opinion. Miss mine loads. Great for the dogs in the boot, loads of room, decent pull with the egr off, decent mpg for such a big truck. Make sure you get under the rear carpets and check for the boot floor rotting and general rot. Parts are cheap, there are loads of little garages that work on them, just steer clear of main dealer rip off prices. Great off road, great in snow, just awesome machines.
  14. Thread hijack, I'm after the same if anyone can help.
  15. Had Guns since he was 7 weeks when I first posted some pics of him on here. Since then he's filled his skin some and at 11 weeks is coming on great. He's Saluki x Bull/Grey. Feed him on Barf, Alpha Racer 28% feed, bones, scraps and bran fibre. He's my first running/long dog but so far so good. Very intelligent dog and easy to train so far.

    RATTING

Hope you have better luck than I have with the same request mate.
  17. For swap I have my 2011 Specialized mountain bike. 15.5 inch frame which will be fine for up to up to five foot eight in height. Bike is in excellent condition in 2011 Specialized team colors red and white. Bike was close on £400 when I bought it new, would like £200 or ideally swap for a decent air rifle set up, gun, scope, bag and pellets.
  18. Bike is in excellent condition mate. I'm in County Durham.
  19. Excellent pics and some handsome animals. Top job.
  20. Frame size should fit riders 5 foot 3 to 5 foot 8.
