    Each to there own yeh a good line bred saluki lurcher for the day but Iv always liked the underdog aswell in most things same with dogs and I used to enjoy watching any dog have a go at a decent hare regardless of how it was bred as long as tried there best good fun and always loved and fascinated by hares especially the older I become..

    I lived around Wiltshire for a couple of years 20 ish year back there was plenty rabbits then good to see theres still some about..

    I like to hear about them An old keeper told me about a dog called snapper from years ago which was 3/4 greyhound 1/4 Australian cattle dog it had 2 minutes in the tank n bent abit wide but two minutes of none stop action n could here it snapping at there heals like a crocodile the whole race took plenty with it n missed as many n never got straight lined he reckoned handy on teeth to n great to keep nothing ever went missing.

    I remember a jackrussle off a farm when I was a kid nothing fancy but was one of them dogs that used to be out n about doing it's own thing all day everyday but it got to a springer bitch n apparently those pups turned out handy things
