So you can use pretty much what you like really then and go as tight as you like for now eh with that bitch, I was just going to ask you to consider looking into old school cruiser pip blood hard to find now but consistent good pups in litters and stay forever big hearts and good solid temps you'd have to do some research into finding that stuff but good as anything imo and easy to keep
-
If for bushing in thick cover how come lads don't just get a hard hunting cocker out of interest
-
I like line breeding but also like an out cross once close as don't like to close as find they can become skitty jmo how about you If I remember that buddy produced best with an out cross
-
I didn't realise the dog was from Scotland
-
No nothing tops deliverance just had potential to be better than it was and yes race with the devil they don't make em like that now
-
This is a good film and still good now even tho it's 50 year old edge of the seat all the way
-
It had potential to be better still definitely worth a watch tho..
-
You don't bump Into many top hares in a season at all lucky to find a few. This is a decent little hare
-
Totally agree alot get carried away but not many dogs can take out them monsters when it counts and that's the beauty of true coursing and the benefit to hares
-
For me be brilliant if could have something with the style similar to that spinner that can also have the minerals to take out Mr right when needed but not many can eh
-
Watching a film called calibre it's good so far imagine going into deepest darkest Scotland middle of nowhere on a hunting trip and upsetting the local ref necks by going with someone's lassie before you even start can tell it isn't going to end well for these two city dwellers lol

Marcus said something the week that hi Marcus said something the other week that today's dogs are alot better killers and faster than the past and looking back his old dogs were just plodders I'm not sure if joking or not as lucky and definitely that spinner wasn't plodders infact that spinner just ideal now imo Yeh not go wrong with plenty of that belle in your dogs mc I liked watching that bitch very game and loved to be worked hard, I'm sure they'll be fine pups whatever you choose good luck
-
What do you have in mind mc I like the look of that Elvis dog from Wales way real good owner retrieves I mean literally on fens no matter how far crackin style not sure if he studs it tho
-
Yes your right was on the phone to him earlier for a catch-up he's a gentleman and yes a good keeper of a dog..
-
Nice man max i l do like him he'd do out for his friends
-
Makes sense
-
Similar mate but doesn't have to be were you live it's usually referred to tricky land such as moors and fields off the back roads of towns n villages must be northern dog slang or even a lancs term
-
Yes always best to wait when possible and as said each litter iv bred the dams older of 6 or 7 and my logic was always test test test for as long as I could but not now as said that I'm older if I was in a position again to have a bitch that I liked enough to breed from then I wouldn't be as strict you can't just wait 6 n 7 years every time can you plus then the time not knowing if the pups make it or not plus there's always the risk and worry if the anything bad happens to the bitch which you wait to line her..
-
Could create something like that sally as you said above or a coursing type be nice tough choice eh plus you never know two different types put together are guna throw you need to pick well and some some luck when picking
-
That's an amazing amount of subscribers I bet them dogs have a great live aswell as him as you say good to see. I bet he has some sport with that pit behind the scenes
-
I used to think like that when I was younger and yes in an ideal world it great to have pups from both parents that have been to the moon n back and remained durable intact the last bitch I bred was 3 year ago she was 7 and she had so much work you'd think it was cruel but she thrived on it just bullet proof but as iv gotten older and you realise time doesn't stand still id of had to of lined that bitch I you mentioned plus your older than me, if you like her and shes doing all you want and you've tested her as much as you can in that time it should be ok and can't see much changing jmo
-
Those two that you have seem to done you well n best of all remained sound what would you put over one of them hypotheticly thinking
-
Good watch that summet different he's doing and as you say living the dream he used to be in here didn't he Is that a bull type lurcher aswell in the vid
-
I don't like everything he does these days but I thought that home front was good were he was just trying to keep his head down with his kid and another one were he was a security guard
-
Nothing wrong with a backs dog it's just what there used to. For example if someone suddenly starts taking a dog to big land they shouldn't expect it to suddenly be constantly good there it usually takes conditioning for that animal usually at least 6 weeks on those terms there's been some decent backs dogs that have ended up doing more than ok and also a good consistent backs dog not easy to come by.
