picked up the traps this morning, didnt catch in them this morning. So over a few mornings i have had four, not as many as i expected , but its four less...

Well, i got a couple. There is a little banking i seen loads run in this morning. So i will leave my traps where they are for now then on wednesday i will go with my heavy duty gloves and pull all the nettles out and set some traps.

42 rabbits ferreting 12 rabbits lamping (8month old dog on his own) about 30 rabbits between 2 dogs lamping 16 rabbits longnetting 4 rabbits trapping (five traps)

Well since i have a week off i thought i would attend that womans garden again, armed with the fenn's. I was pointed in the direction of a couple of Yew Trees that is apparently crawling with the little buggers. Its on a very slight bank and there is a decent size hole so i put a fenn in there. There is another two almost vertical bolt holes, which i filled in There could be more in the middle of the yew trees but i dont know. I walked along one fence line of the orchard and filled almost every hole in bar 3 - which looked an ideal size for the traps. I walked down the othe

I posted a while ago about my dog being injured. Well the good news is he was at the vets this morning and was told that he should be walked on a lead for about 10 mins a night and build him up over a few weeks. And thankfully he will be able to run normally again

well, none of the snares were even knocked. So the rabbits must be living in the garden. Rather than running through from neighbouring fields. I did have four in the fenn's. They were all just young un's, but its four that wont be breeding. Once i get some more fenn's i shall give it a good go.

If you peg the rings down, the net won't purse. THere is draw cord that passes through the rings on one end you will have about 1foot of draw cord. attach your peg to that.

THe box wire and the rabbit fence are about 6inch apart. The rabbit wire was in a perfect circle where they were jumping through. I cut it up abit to increase the kill area DEL from the site giving a hand.

There is a mid-aged woman who has problem with the bunnies, i ferret it sometimes but havent given it much go with traps or snares. Went over tonight and she said its the worst she's ever seen it. I set five fenn's and will be snaring it in the morning. In the orchard its theres rabbit fencing down both sides, one side backs onto a bowling green and the other backs onto a ploughed field next to railway. The ploughed field side has some setts down and all the rabbit fencing is destroyed and have recently had a new box wire fence put up. The bowling green side is a thick hedgerow contai
