  1. Popcorn, anyone!?! Regards, Grim.
  2. My vote: standard length rifle, thumbhole stock. Don't get me wrong, I CAN (and still do, for that matter) shoot very satisfactorily with a standard stock, no qualms there, its just that i much prefer a thumbhole stock - preferably with the pistol type grip, such as the one i made for the S310 in my sig & profile piccies. Again, my preference is for the standard full length rifle rather than a carbine - purely (for me anyway) the matter being i like the accuracy imparted to the pellet trajectory due to the (ok, almost negligable, i admit ) extra bit of 'spin' given to the pellet i
  3. Yes Bustbibs, i did mean that. I thought i had done the poll in such a way as to make it so that people can fill in the parts that were regarding their own position, so to speak? Regards, Grim. ** Bloody old fool, me! **
  4. Cheers Chris - good man, yourself! Regards, Grim.
  5. Yeah, i realised i missed it now, but initially, i only had three parts (as a max) to my poll you see If its any consolation, i too have a 12g ATB, Grim.
  6. Well, for me anyway, the problem is that if i try to enter my 30-35 yard vote and press vote now, i get an error message comes up saying i havent pressed the right button or simillar? It might be me of course - i mean, can a person vote on a poll that they have constructed? Cheers Chris, Grim.
  7. No, no mate - feel free to vote (i have tried to register my vote as 30-35 yards, but can't get it to work) i hope it works for you, because it don't work for me! LMAO Blasted bloody thing! ATB, Grim.
  8. UMM . . . . . . I don't think this chuffin thing is working!?! Someone, anyone - help me out please! Many thanks, Grim.
  9. This is my first attempt at a poll guys - please take the time to fill it in as honestly as you can. It is purely for general interest really, and i thought i would 'have a go' at doing it, as i think it will prove a useful subject for those of us (me included ) who maybe thinking of broadening our horizons in the future - sort of like a database, type of thing? This poll is not to be looked at as a way of slating others, just purely as a point of reference. I honestly don't know if this will work as i intend it to (being my first ever poll thingy) but hey, what the hel - its
  10. Hmmmm . . . . . . A good bag there, bud! All the best, Grim.
  11. Well done Davey, good bag there! You certainly are making a name for yourself with those rabbitses - and I bet its not a nice one niether!! LMAO Keep it up mate! Kind regards, Grim.
  12. Now Sean, THAT would be a good idea for all, actually? That way, if theres anyone with a problem, when they look on here, they would get an idea of those dealers who are helpful, fair priced etc, and who are in the readers locality. There would be no need to name and shame the bad or not so good ones - just put the names of the usefull/helpful ones up on here, like? Spiffing idea if you ask me. All the best, Grim.
  13. COOL!! Am well happy you got it sorted bud, now you should have a smooth ride from here on in! lol If there's any probs (in future) that may cause you frustration - you know where i am pal *whats that old saying . . . . .oh yeah . . . . . "a friend in need . . . . . . .is a friend to be avoided!!" * LOL [JOKE!] All the best, Grim.
  14. Nice going there RK, Glad you like your new 'scope! One thing i'd mention to you though, in regards of your rifle in the piccy - watch out for the rabbit blood getting onto the blueing, it is an absolute barstood when it gets on blueing. Nothing seems to react quite as rapidly on blueing as rabbit blood, IME. Best to keep it [blueing] clean as you can bud. Regards, Grim.
  15. You ARE quick old son - I forgot that one! LOL Well almost the dead centre, yes . . . . . . Regards, Grim.
  16. No worries mate with the offer of a phone convo - the offer is there if and when you want to take it mate I thought of this option as i had amanaged to help a mate of mine who needed to re-adjust his S410 trigger and sears (pull weight and 1st & 2nd stages) - we did this over the phone together and he was most satisfied when the trigger was behaving to the best standard he had ever had it working to. Anyway, the offer is there mate, and its a matter for you to decide when the time is right. All the best, Grim.
  17. Not neccesarily Sean, it doesen't sound like its Air Arms that are the problem, per se, but could more likely be these unscrupulous local RFD getting thier paws in the rifles [rather than the manufacturers themselves] that cause [some] of these mis-haps? Only my first thoughts and opinion though. Cheers, Grim.
  18. Pressure was at 100 bar millet just topping her up its fecked.Quite right FV, the pressure tends to piss out once you get to the 50 bar (or below) mark, and as you got to 100 before filling it up, its unlikely to be that that is the problem. Coney i honestly can`t be arsed to go through the whole senario again for something to go wrong again . Starting to think better to cut my losses now rather than it keep going back and forth. It had just been fully servied 2 weeks ago and this happens doing my head in fancy a different gun can`t put up with this drama every other month . See wha
  19. Please feel absolutely free Phil mate, and please keep us posted on how you get on bud? Oh, and don't give up - don't let the barstoods grind you down , you WILL hit gold one day mate All the best to you, Grim.
  20. I GOT STOPPED FOR SPEEDING YESTERDAY. . . . . I THOUGHT I COULD TALK MY WAY OUT OF IT . . . . . UNTIL THE OFFICER LOOKED AT MY DOG IN THE BACK SEAT . . . . . Sorry guys . . . . . couldn't resist posting this one!! All the best, Grim.
  21. Well, if i had to use one word to discribe this tommy sheridan, that word would be 'Tool' - because thats what he is . . . . . . and a bloody well useless one at that! I dunno . . . .some people! Rant over All the best, Grim.
  22. Thats a class looking shoot you got there bud - you lucky man! All the best, Grim.
  23. to friends and family mate you should be ok.....but my worry is , what would happen if someone got poorly off em!!!????? cheers sean If they get THAT poorly, then just call me bud - I can bury, . . . I can burn . . . . . choice is yours!!! LMAO I dunno, mine is a dead boring, dead-end job in a dying trade . . . .and it scares me half to death . . . . . having said that though, its a job to die for! Ok, ok, . . . . getting me coat now! Regards, Grim.
  24. Aww Gandalf mate, I think you maybe took what i was saying the wrong way - I weren't being funny or owt. All i was meaning was to give a friendly viewpoint and a hopefully useful suggestion, with regards to the scrim net for scope and rifle, that would help you sort of meld with the background, like? No offence intended chap. With the scope and sticky tape - your choice entirely mate, was just thinking ahead to the future when say, you might wish to sell it on? If that were for instance to happen, then the cleaner it is, the better for you and the price you'd get bud. Al
  25. Umm . . . . . sorry guys to ask, but was my post heading along the right rails, so to speak? I don't like to give people the wrong ideas or info if I can help it, you see? Cheers, Grim.
