    Well folk's, The Westmeath Working Terrier show will be on Sunday July 17th in Moate Co.Westmeath all the usual classes will be held on the day + flapper racing and a digging competition..The judges on the day are Terriers Mr. Darren Cashmore and Lurchers Mr. Jed Donagh. We will also be holding our raffle again this year with some great prizes.. There will also be a few trade stands there on the day.. Hope to see you all there on the day.. All the proceeds from the day will be donated to the Irish Working Terrier Federation from myself and Kevin to help the lad's fund the day to day ru

    I sent my red box back to Bellman & Flint a while back to get the point fixed one it and within ten days I received a brand new back from them I also had a problem with a collar last year and they replaced it with a barnd new one within 5 day's..

    I never said that ranger777 what I said was the white dog had sign's of work on him. But I do no if a dog is being worked on a regular basis year in year out it will have some signs of work fact. Some of the so called working dog's at most shows up and down the country have gotten nothing only prityer over year's from what I've seen of them.. It's all down to standards and my standards mite be different to your..

    The white dog that won the show was a working dog with sign's of work, I don't see the problem with a working dog winning a WORKING DOG SHOW.. Most of the other white dog in that line up will probably never be dug ?

    We have been given a very unique prize for the raffle at the show from Mr Rob Hicks it's a tattooed portrait of your working dog. Which will be carried out at his studio in Tullamore we'd like to thank Rob for this prize.

    There are some great prizes this year for the main winner and the runner up in both the lurcher and the terrier class and also for the digging competition. Stuff from Bulldog Tool, Sharp Tooth we also have terrier box's, couples, slip leads, light force lamp, collars, prints, dvd's, money the list go's on.. We will be having a raffle this year aswell so very one has a chance of winning something.. As you all know the Westmeath Working Terrier Club will be donating all the money raised on the day for the IWTF. Hope to see you all there and most important I hope we get the weather.
