    i remember one dig very well we were on a farm one saturday afternoon about 4 o clock in september we were using my friends lakeland a show dog that dident make the grade but the best lakeland i have seen on a fox we came to a set with a good sent of fox the dog was mad to get off we had a look around and decided to let the dog in after about 30 seconds he started to work but about 25 feet out we could just hear him at the mouth of the hole witch was down a bank about 4 or 5 foot but we couldent hear a thing out in the field we bared and sounded and then tried to call the dog out but no joy w

    I have been in a few yards in my time(I dont know anybody famous)the yards that impressed me most(I am not easily impressed)were the yards of men who nobody knew or talked about,men who were humble with what they had and talked no shite,and looked for no name or MONEY,just loved dogs and digging.They are the real dog men not those BIG names who everybody bullshites about.Just to add they were not all country boys some were city boys who kept dogs any man would keep in his yard.

    I can't work out why sumone whuld want to do that to a dog I aggree with u mudd don't say much for the man who owned it sounds like he cared what other people thought of his dog more than his dog itself It is called big mickey syndrome,he got his dog certified by cheating,and bad judging(politics was rife back then to).f**k the dog he should have put him down. why would you need to put this on a open forum and muud dog why do you feel the need to reply egos come to mind yous wouldnt be friends with that cooney boy sure he said he wouldnt have nothing to do with the IWTF nows he the chai

So why are you asking? Because it wouldn't fool anyone that knows the score and it doesn't say much for the fella that had the "bright idea" standards wise either. Do u agree ?     cruel lolol have you never worked a strong dog? im sure that the badgers were not soft after getting worked a few times i reckon theyd give a good account of them selves. so do you think that the dogs at the trials didnt work? its coming across that way yes i worked many strong dogs, and the game was soft how do you think the badgers got to the trials, they were dug allready worked by dogs then left in cages all day in the heat then droped under the boards compleatly out of there natural enviorment overheated and tired. i saw dogs that did nothing under the boards then locked on to the game w
