  1. last time i saw him he had 1/2 crosses and 3/4 cross soo he could well have 3/8 5/8 by now.
  2. I like a bit of height to my dog, the strong dogs from Ireland I've seen are always small is it always the case Strong dogs as you call them are not meant to be 23" monsters like you see walking round with chavs and scallys. 19 or 20 inches is ideal for a "strong dog"

  4. One of my mates done it a long way back and they turned out tidy enough dogs. Hunted well and killed when they caught, I think the line came to an end a couple year ago.
  5. I had a kc registered parson once, wouldn't do a mouse when i had it. A lad wanted to try it so off he went and bugger me it worked to ground first time he tried it
  6. You probably won't have much of a rabbit left if she did manage to pick one up from the cover , no reason you can't use her for bushing I have a bitch of similar look and build and she loves chasing them and smashing the cover for the lurcher to have a run.
  7. Nice dog that Pit in them from years back is there?? Only asking cause a fella I know from hampshire way had a dog which was similar.
  8. Bull patterdale that is just a bit to big to go to ground, doesn't waste his or my time if theres nothing in the cover.

  10. I am looking for a fella who bought a bull x bitch from me, he lives up on orkney so shouldn't be too many on here from there. Just want to know how the bitch is getting on.
  11. Yes, you could breed the best dog and bitch and end up with a pile of crud. And on the other hand breed two unknown and end up with world beaters. I know of litters from tried and tested parents where not one pup turned out any good.

  18. Wont be doing that, take it 1 o'clock then as thats seems to be the norm
