As a falconer i can tell you that gos hawks are not only captive bred they are wild birds found in britain and will definatly find poults easy pickings. Both tawny owls and buzzards will also take poults as will european eagle owls, sparrow hawks and several other non native bops that have escaped from a falconer or been released by the many peple who buy them and dont know what they are doing.

Ive always used meths. If you want to keep it looking realy full and fluffy befor you put it in the jar get a knitting needle and stuff the brush full of cotton wool or a piece of wooden dowl. It does take longer to get rid of the smell of meths but its worth it.

Very nice bird wish you the best of look for the season. I also fly one of those funny brown things and she is a demon would never part with her even though i am considering a differnent bird for next season

Very nice mate. When you put your bars on the inside make sure they are far enough away so that your bird cant reach the mesh. Looking forward to the finished project mate keep us posted.

Looking good mate but id personly replace the mesh with bars so when the bird is free lofted it wond do asmuch damage to its tail. But thats just my opinion other than that it looks great well do and keep us posted

Well it seems like there were a few folk who went but there was only one who came to see me and that was whip. Callie im sure i saw you about 10yrds from my tent but didnt realise it was you till now. My stand was the one at the top near all the wood with the big tent next to it.
