  1. Doesn't sound like you.... ? Wonder how many times I've called you a ?!! Haha ?
  2. Yeah I'll not be chopping mine in for a howa or remmington! Just have to work out a bit more ?
  3. After handling a t3x lite in 223 I thought I'd see if I could find one in 204 flavour (my varmint gets pretty heavy by end of the night). After speaking to couple of places, it seems both tikka & sako have dropped the 20 cal from their models range, even in USA where the calibre is really popular. Forest Lodge told me they still stocking 204 ammo but don't know for how much longer. I know it's not a chavvy 223 popularity but I'm pretty surprised they've stopped producing them all together. Plenty of Howa 1500 though. @ianm @si brown what you reckon?
  4. Well done Mr sausage ? Bitter-sweet but very satisfying for you. One to remember as you sit by the fireside this winter.

Lucky I get wheat from next door, mates rates. Put few duck tubes out too. Counted few skylarks & yellowhammers today & goldfinches nesting in woods. Not just the game that benefits.

  13. Your spot on mate. I had a disagreement (fucķing nob 'ed) with a bloke in village shop yesterday after he was shouting the odds about farmers "raping the land".
  14. Talking of price of wheat etc, it's not gonna get any better- we're not going to mow as much silage or hay this year cos price to fertiliser it. Usually around £250/T been quoted almost £1k/T this year!! Cheaper to buy silage in ?
  15. But if the 204 hits hard enough....
  16. Good man! I spied a pair nest building this morning, moved trap near to tree once they cleared off = 3hrs later one caught & its mate still kicking off in hedges now!
  17. Fingers crossed Phil. Remember I'm not a million miles away if you want anything, food etc. Stay safe mate.
  18. Everyone different. I'll be out more the next couple of months than any other time, solely to help ground nesting birds. I'll also shout at any naughty badgers.
