  1. Yes mate l am. I have decided the time is right. If all goes well it will be this summer. The sire is gwp and the dam is greyhound x collie, but only a small percentage off collie in her. Both dogs are very good very good at their job. The gwp is 10 years old and still doing plenty of work and the bitch is 6 years old and doing her job very well.
  2. Well put and researched king. All what you have put makes sense mate. But I do believe my dogs do well on the varied diet on which I feed them on. But wil liquidis it from now on mate. Your never to old to learn
  3. Sounds like a good day had by all. Well done men and dogs
  4. King then I will stand corrected mate. But by mincing the veg on fine mince is same as liquidising it. By shaking the tripe would not remove the whole contents of the stomach
  5. Hi King as for veg there are vitamins and minerals in them. it's just my choice. When you see wild dogs, wolves and such they go into the stomach first and get a lot of part digested vegetation from their prey. As for the worming and such wild animals have a lot shorter life then domesticated animal and we are here to make our work mates life a bit better
  6. Hi mate i also run and prefer half greyhound 1/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington for the work I do
  7. As said i will use most green's a part from onions mate
  8. I personally like to use veg frankel but just my choice. i also believe they do benefit from it and it's all free. By mincing it in with the meat even the fussiest eater can't pick it out
  9. Hi northernite i am pretty sure they do mate. But my choice is to feed what i am happy with. I am sure you would do well on bread and jam but you wouldn't want it every day. It's like people who think their dog get's enough exercise from just being run at weekend and kenneled all week i'm sure they do ok for them but it's not for me.
  10. Yes dodger i do agree with that. It's all about what you feel happy with and how the dogs perform on their diet. In the early days of complete food when I changed to it I did notice the dogs I was running at the time seemed to have less stamina
  11. I do believe you get out what you put in with your dogs be it diet, exercise, work and care. I give them the best i can on all accounts. I've had dogs for over 35 years and still get enjoyment from doing the best for my dogs and getting the best out of them. Regards selling the food if people locally wanted to buy some then why not
  12. Always feed a varied diet. Also mince chicken carcasses, beef lamb and venison. We mince the veg in with meat so the dogs can't be picky with it. They get feed on whole chicken carcasses, lamb Brest and pilchard in tomotoes always with cod liver oil on
  13. Hi all just wondered what over people feed their dogs. Here's what we do. Today's recipe is tripe, hare, rabbit, squirrel, carrots and cabbage all minced together bagged and frozen for a minimum of three weeks.
  14. Sorry to here this mate. Not herd about them not doing well in kennels. Could be that she is doing this out of boredom. By not putting time in to the bitch. Pointers need stimulation
  15. Great pic's and paintings lads. Love them
