    Hi all went lamping last night the conditions were very good. Me, my daughter and the lurcher pup Tarn who is now 17 months old and learning all the time. He watchers the lamp really well and runs the beam well. Her had some good runs and caught 6 rabbits out of 8 slips. My daughter (Lurcherlass14) started the slipping him but we took it in turns through the night. Will be out tonight all being well. YIS Pete.

    Good catch lads 54 and a partridge very good. Went out last night my self. very dark and windy just took the pup he is 17 month old and doing very good. had six rabbits out of eight slips. Y I S Pete

    Just got back from picking a pup from this litter. They are really well reared. Sire & dam are a cracking pair. Jonny thanks for making use welcome & for the drinks. Any one after a good working lurcher wont go wrong with one of these pups. Carnt wait to collect her. Thanks Pete

    Hi Shaun. Quick set nets are a great tool in the right places & are very efficient when you get good with them but i am a bit of a traditionalist & use the old long nets. We are planing the next attack we will use 100 yard nets and a 25 yard stop net to split the warren in two.Y I S Pete

    No pics mate, would have liked to have taken some as we had a lot of orange net in use that would have shown up well.

    A cracking day had by all. Ferrets & dog working really well. As for long nets yes they could have added a few more to the total but the rabbits in general were just bolting from one hole to another & rarely headed for the open. The nettles were bad mate & the piss does work. Y I S Pete

    Hi all. Just thought i would put my opinion on. Surely people that pick Hancock dogs do so with out really understanding what the breeder is offering. They are getting a base line, a genuine collie cross. Most people in the lurcher game could not tell you what breeds are in their dogs. Not saying their is any thing wrong in this if they do the job you want it for. But if you are after a genuine collie cross than that is what you will get from Hancock. Then it is up to you to put all the time in to make the dog the best you have had. Hancock does not state they are worker x worker breed, what
