    Yes mate 4 years old and the best dog i have got. Marks 100%, caught day time rabbits, works with hawks & falcons, stands on point till you tell him to flush & is a brilliant ratting dog. What more could you want. Y I S Pete.

    This is a picture of my lurcher pup. Just under 9 months old. 1/2 greyhound 1/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington. Coming on really well in the lamp. He has caught 26 rabbits in just under 2 month. Probably the youngest i have entered but seems mentally & physically ready well before the other dogs i have run. Well pleased with him.

    Cracking day mate and a very good season. Pointer did really well again. Some good sport had by all once again. Got some nice land for next season can,t wait. Pup did really well on the lamp. six good rabbits , not a bad night for just under 8 months old. Yours in sport Pete :clapper:

    Hi Tomo go to your nearest undertakers. All coffins are made from oak they are usually glad to get rid of all the off cuts. Thats were i get mine from.

    Hi mate cracking day. May be older but a lot sharper. Dogs performed well, pointer marked well and caught his first rabbit out in the open , very good course and pick up. Dog just gets better & better. I find the pointer is probably the best all round dog i have owned. Lurcher pup did well. Two good catchers for him. Really pleased with his progress.     Lost a dear friend on wednesday. A true gentleman and a passionate hunter. Wildfowler, pigeon shooter,ferreter, netter.beater, He lost his life in a tragic road accident at age of 79. Such a sad loss to all these sports. A wealth of knowledge gone for ever. Will be missed loads but never forgotten .R I P Ken Burton.

    Hi all some really good replies. I my self have been in to lurchers for 30 years. The running dogs i have at the moment are three, 2 males & 1 bitch. The oldest 15 years. youngest 8 months old. The pup is doing quite well had a few on the lamp already. this is the youngest i personally have entered a pup. Every dog is different & this pup is mentally & physically more ready at this age than the others were. Maybe the whippet in his breeding keeping his size down, where the others have been large breeds. They have all done what i have asked of them. That is why they are here to sta
