    A cracking start and many more to come love. Can I just ask why, when on a hunting forum, a topic about hunting gets only 4 replies in 2 days and other insignificant garbage gets everbody replying. Does this make anyone really want to post topics about hunting! I thought a forum like this would be here to encourage all hunters not just the idiots. It's a shame people can't be bothered to answer good topics. Looking forward to many more nights out. Y I S Pete

    Fair play if they do give an" honest "opinion but I believe there are quite a few who seem to know the person on the other end of the lead better than the dog they are supposed to be judging. Is this why more people are keeping their dogs on the outside of the rings when you see a judge judging in the morning then showing in the aternoon, does this put more pressure on the afternoon judge to pick the morning judges dog. Often it seems that a regular winner gets picked as a safe bet even though there may be better quality dogs in the show on the day. Y I S Pete

    Hi mate the dog is two year old and is 1/2 greyhound 1/4 whippet 1/4 bedlington. Could not ask for any more from him. Prey drive, strike, timming and response are all very good. Y I S Pete

    We went out at 9.30 last night, me and Bogwopit (from this site). IIt was windy and although a full moon, plenty of cloud cover. As we parked up the wind dropped and the clouds cleared, not looking so good now! We decided to make the most of it, using the hedgerows and contours of the land to stop our shadows casting into the fields, on we went. We knew that on a night like this the slips were going to have to be much longer. When the rabbits headed for the safety of the dark hedges and dykes the dogs took advantage of the brightness of the moon to follow them in. This resulted in a bag of 10

    After a gruelling 6 1/2 hour journey arrived to a warm welcome at the Heart of Wales at 9.45pm on friday. Journey was well worth it, one of finest country fairs of the year. Excellent run show, camping fields with stunning panoramic views and very good facilities. All events well run, wife and daughter with me and all really enjoyed this great show. Weather tried to spoil Saturday but not for long. Got show champion with my fawn lurcher Tarn and daughter's merle pup came 3rd in her class.Stayed til monday afternoon. A big thanks to the 2 lads clearing site who helped when I had problems with
