    same reason all lurchers are breed because youv got the chance of something special.first crosses are typey and consistannt. iv just got a deerhound greyhound first cross pup but i.m.o its the bitza that could throw the greats.     I recentlie bought a brindle 1st x out of trevors dog "busard" to algaz roman an open class greyhound. I got her of a fella from spenny more in north east. She was small for a bitch pup of this cross and was too thin. shes 20 weeks and doing well now. Shes grown a inch and a half since I got her 2 weeks ago and Im hoping with good food and care shell catch up but I only expect a 25 26 inch lurcher when shes done.     get real mate.1. how many coursing dogs are used in a way that they run and pick hares up before they move? 2. due to my own mistake iv sent my lurchers to "rabbits" in the seat only to find they were bricks or rocks that the dogs struck and they certainlie didnt break there jaw. 3. Most the time when you see "sighns" for trip wires as I did at wisbeach 10 year ago they are put there by lads who have permission to course the land and dont want there hares poached.its a bluff theres no wires We dont live in the victorian times now. too many wives tales in the lurcher world.

    Why are people so anti making money from a dog if thats what they want to do? If your honest and sell decent stock for proffit whats the problem? Sure deal with skidders and jackers dont sell them under false protenses but if theres a goood market for a made dog for what ever reason and your prepared to take the time to test and enter young dogs are you really such a bad person? also if you sell something dont keep on about what the new owners done with it thats on there conscions. P.s I give most my pups to freinds and rarlie sell dogs just sick of the winging all the time.
