each to there own, Christmas round the corner a think the majority would say no. Plus you no what your putting in to a pup and no what yer getting out when buying one might be it but bonding wise might not won't to no. But o well everyone's differentI don't mean at this time of year mate at Xmas most of our wallets are a bit thin.but if the dog was really good at its job.the litter mates were and a decent line of honest workers. Then I don't think it's to bad to pay a wedge for a ready made dog.
I payed £400 for a pedigree staff about 20yrs ago that was pointed out to me it was slightly over
There were 2 bull X on the for sale section lately that went for £400 they sold quick.
you could pay £200 for a pup from proven stock and at least that on good grub for 1yr and that totals £400.
So if you could buy a ready made dog say3yr old that was good at its job and came with a decent trial for £600.
It's not to bad when the sums are worked out.
No bringing it on someone else has done all the training and put the time in.all you got to do is gain the dogs trust grab your lamp and you are out enjoying lamping.
And before the question start then yes I would pay that for a ready made do
Whilst she holding onto them tight, teach her the hold command
Lol
It would stop em doing that thing they do, what do ye call it, that's right, jumping lol
Crack on fella lol.
That is a brilliant pic Phill id say its the best ferreting action shot ive ever seen. its like the black dog is thinking wheres it gone and the merl dog thinking look at this clever bugger lol.sorry to hear about your mate Adrian passing on.he definitely had a some skill armed with a camera..
I find that the numb freezing cold hands are the last thing on a ferreters mind when waiting patiently for a bolting rabbit.but when stopping the Action for a brew and Sandwich they are chilled to the bone.
This pic is about 12 yrs old.but I've done nowt get a grip fella.
I recognise you from that picture ... Your davidd from abercwmbucket ... You were drummed out of the village for being an arse bugler and tampering with your dogs ... What nobody can see is you have your little todger wedged up that black bitch because you got so excited when the big boys of the village showed you those rabbits ............
You got pm

I took most of my rabbits by ferreting and a good few yrs lamping.rabbits can't jump 4ft while in a purse net.
And the hundreds I've caught lamping I can't recall many jumping that high.
