  1. Not ruining my thread at all Peter mate, were all here for support etc mate. If we can't help or support who can?
  2. So about a 3 weeks ago, I got my SGC and with it being Christmas and me being lucky having all my Christmas shopping done I had some money left over in the savings account for a treat for myself. So I searched about, read some reviews and decided to treat myself to a new 12g Beretta A400 Xcel. Must have been a good lad this year because soon after I gained my first couple of acres for some rough shooting too. What's everyone else treating themselves to this year as I bet we've all worked hard enough for it so why not. ATB Stu
  3. Congratulations mate. Hope him and the wife are doing well.
  4. Congratulations mate all the best. Hope there fit and well.
  5. So guys, with the festive season here, what are your plans for over the holiday period?? I'm looking to shoot at my local, Spennymoor and district clay club on the 20th if I can get the day off work? Anyone else got anything planned over christmas?? ATB Stu
  6. Read it on a local wildfowling forum mate, to be honest I'm none the wiser. Www.newcastlewildfowers.co.UK/shooting it's on there about half way down. May have read it wrong.
  7. Its with a shotgun guys sorry should have said. that's a lot for the replies. its much appreciated
  8. Are there any place you can go wildfowling in the North East. I know that you need to have a permit and for the first three shoots you need to be accompanied by an experienced shooter. Any advice would be much appreciated! Stu
  9. Hi guys, Last night I was fortunate enough to gain some land to shoot from a local farmer I know. I have an acknowledgement form from the BASC website to get signed by him and a copy for myself but do I get a third copy signed to forward onto the local police? Any feedback would be appreciated. Stu
  10. Thanks for the welcome guys. Hope your all well
  11. I for one am not a huge Fury fan and personally I think he just keeping the belts warm for Anthony Joshua but you cannot deny the fact out of the ring hes a promoters dream and an entertainer. but I totally agree with recent comments, he does need to learn when not to open his mouth or pick and choose his word better.
  12. Similar thing happened with me mate, Although I never actually went to court or even got arrested for the what happend but I had an incident where I threatened someone (not with my shotgun) and I had an armed response team to my mums house where I was living at the time, I then had my SGC withdrawn until I joined the Army then it was reinstated. I know how you feel though because when the FAO from Durham Constabulary came to my home he brought it up straight away. He explained to me the two main things that make it difficult for people to receive there SGC is domestic violence and a criminal
  13. Hello everybody, I'd just like to introduce myself, My name is Stu, I'm 25 and I'm from County Durham. Just a little bit about myself, I was in the British Army for 4 years, served in the Royal Corp of Signals as a Radio Operator based down in Warwickshire. left the army in 2013 and started working as a fibre optic cabler for BT Openreach. Hunting was beaten into me by my granddad from a young age, shooting, dog work, ratting you guys know the score. I gained my shotgun licence at 17 and inherited my granddads shot guns (Mossberg 12G Pump Action and Baikal 12G Side by Side). du
