When I'm up the mountain having a cuppa.i like to sit on top of a steep long bank and do so retrieving work with Rex.Great seeing him pulling hard on his shoulders coming back up.cant get that type of exercise on the flat I don't think. Get him running up them dunes mate soon burn him out lol. If spike sees a dog or person in the distance the red mist decends wants to chew the lead off to get to them.but meeting people and dogs on a path he's quite boisterous until he give them a sniff he's ok then. He's got some temper lol.

Still some knuckle on her frankel.she looks in great condition nice shiny coat on here. Love looking at a black dog in the sunshine every muscle ripple stands out.

Didn't realise it contained much salt.ive allways used about a 1/4 teaspoon in about 50ml odd of water mixed through food for fussy eating pups. It seems to switch them on to the food.Any way hope they come on ok get a good appetite Owain.

Yes mate that's spot on ... Skinless and boiled and mix it with boiled white rice that's been throughly washed ... If they will,take it give them some pro biotic yogurt first it helps settle the gut and kickstarts the good enzymes ... Do not give them any fatty meat it can cause pancreatitis in young pups that have already got a gut infection ... Also don't mix in any dried food as it digests at a slower time than the meat so that means the gut is working twice as hard when you want it to be resting and healing and digesting food quickly ... Make sure they have got plenty of fresh water down m

Try and give there meal a bit of smell.a little bit of bisto mixed through well.wil give off a nice smell for the pups. Plain smelling food ain't very appealing.

To right breast is good stuff.i would also recommend the cheapest economy mince beef from the super market.plenty of fat in it.Edit to add. Ive got a blender in the house like a plastic pint size cup on top with steel cutting blades.if the chicken mince I have is wet when thawed I blitz a jug full of good dog biscuit into fine crumb and mix it in.dryes the meat up great easy to adjust the wetness then by adding more etc.and a knob of lard in a mug 1 min in the microwave pour over job done.

had one of my dogs blasted with a lecky fence she acts funny on the same land when ever i go there she still does her job but she can still defo remember .I remember quickly brushing my hand over an electric fence 1 day.no shock so thought great it must be off.Climbing over fence line between my legs grabbed it to push it lower and feck me what a jolt.felt like the bones in my arm were rattling lol The 240v cattle ones are the worst, I spent a very long 5 seconds led on one, glad a had a thick coat on Cheers, D. The dog jacked.you are a bell end on times. The way I see it the dog run out of sight, anything could happen. Wouldn't write a dog off until it connected with quarry and spewed it out. I've got these pair now.rex has a good nose it's letting him see what he is scenting that's the problem.after a few I'm sure he will hunt up its getting the few though lol.
