I'm in the dozer now the lads had to help me get up the tracks. Back feels like it's going to snap..heated seat has been on since 6:30..luckily I'm working with wet soft material so no bouncing about..

Have you tried lamping with a wedding cake as a hat mate.. Its bloody heavy after a few hrs..especially when the wind is strong..
  10. That story you told a while back about the turtle with the musket ball inside it was amazing mate..how old did you say they thought is was ?
  11. I used to love watching him years ago on TV with his land rover and trailer..very clued up fella..a wealth of knowledge.. A good programme when Ray mears spent some time with les in Australia.
  12. Back in the day... The man worked..the wife brought up the kids and looked after the house.. elderly parents lived with them until death..they could afford food..clothes..heating..electric..even a holiday.. Nowadays..both parents work and pay for a child minder..what is that all about..Once home they ring for a just eat take away..eating processed shit food and paying big ££ for the privilege.. There was once big industries in GB..all gone..now the people go to work in big factory's ran and owned by the Chinese..the days of a strong community has gone..the government even said d

My mates father has built an above ground carp pond about 15ft long and 8ft wide he leaves a cheap thin plastic football ontop in winter that blows around and prevents ice building on the surface quite a clever idea I thought..

  22. It would be a good idea mate to be honest to give it a good coating all underneath..Next summer I might give it a go..I've been wanting a compressor for a number of years I should buy 1..machine mart have a good amount of them..
  23. I haven't had that done as it's about £500 I think mate..I have used a good few cans of this underseal though..some oaps owned it before me and rust wise it's very good compared to others I've seen on jimny groups and forums..
  24. Done 16k miles the last 12 months..its on 70k miles now..super reliable and piss easy to work on everything is very basic and parts are cheap.. It's 23yr old now and I recon a brand new range rover out the showroom today would have more problems than the jimny over the next 3yrs.. The same model jimny has been around for 20yrs so plenty of parts about..the only downside is they do suffer from tin worm.. Its like lots of japan made cars they dont have corrosion coatings as they dont use grit salt in japan unlike europe..
  25. I read up that the insurance has gone insane on them mate..hence the price crash
